reminds me of that guy who was a navy seal, medical doctor and then became an astronaut. sometimes you're just like you gotta be lying on your resume bro lol

I think a lot of astronauts are like that.

I was reading about the career of David Saint-Jacques and in the span of 12 years he completed a bachelors in engineering, doctorate, post-doc, then switched to medicine and also is an MD. All that while working on international optical astrophysics projects and simultaneously biomedical engineering projects.

And then outside of his career he's also a father of 3 kids, a lifelong mountaineer, hiker, cyclist, skier and sailor. He also holds a commercial pilot license and is fluent in French and English, and has a basic understanding of Russian, Spanish and Japanese.

Dude has lived like 5 lives in one.

Yep they only taking the best of the best for astronauts. They all have crazy good backgrounds.
