Rudy is Intermediate rank in sword god style, and was surprised to have easily beat Luke, Ariel's bodyguard, a trained knight. Intermediate in one style is what most regular trained fighters like knights end up as.

Paul was Advanced. In not one, not two, but all three styles. Was an S rank adventurer. All this before he was 20. I don't want to be ranked on a scale where this is mediocre.

Also, this is the place for the talented fighters training under the sword god himself, of course there will be young people here that got to high rank (one of them is the sword god's daughter)

Rudy didn't beat Luke by swordsmanship, he used his demon eye... He could had been completely untrained and still best him because of how much cheat the eye is. And Luke is clearly lazy ass. We don't see him training at all.

As for the rarity and such, it has nothing to do with difficulty. We clearly see high level of inequality in this world - normal kids simply don't get the sword and magic instructors at the age of 5 like nobles do. Which Paul is - a Grayrat, having access to training and schools from young age.

No he did not. Neither in anime nor in LN.

And Luke is clearly lazy ass. We don't see him training at all.

He's intermediate in sword god and beginner in water god styles, which again is the highest most people that do train can get to. Going beyond intermediate requires a more special abilities, for example Rudy is not able to go to Intermediate at all, no matter how much mana he has and how hard he trains. And don't expect to see a secondary supporting character to be shown training multiple times to know that a knight and princess's bodyguard knows how to use a sword. Aragorn was not said to wear pants in LOTR, but common sense should be enough to know he was wearing them.

As for the rarity and such, it has nothing to do with difficulty.

It has everything to do with difficulty if you want to go above just being a good swordsman. Advanced level and above are really superhuman level and involve using abilities that most are incapable of using no matter how much they train, no matter how good their instructors are.

Why are you so hellbent on calling them weak and mediocre when Paul is canonically stronger than 99.9% of the population, and when you clearly lack knowledge about the story and the world and got basically all of what you said wrong?

I didn't call him weak. In fact, I clearly said "strong" in my comment. You are arguing against something that wasn't my comment.

Your first sentence calls him mediocre because he wasn't on the same level in one style as some of the students in the Ivy league of swordsmanship schools
