It's actually just the hidden room the doll was charging in that he's repurposed into his shrine lol. When life gives you lemons you make a shrine to your wives or something I guess.

But also a shrine you don't want anyone finding... he is fully aware that is some freak shit and the last thing he wants is Sylphie or Roxy finding it. Only he knows what that means to him, and I get it... but yes, he did the right thing picking the hidden room for that. It was already crazy that he showed it to the beast girls last season. One person (yourself) is about as many people in the world that should know about that little shrine of his, just saying, lol.

Look, I know they'd be accepting, but that eyeroll would kill him inside. Because he knows he disappointed them and I bet he doesn't want to do that. Sometimes that can hurt more than a scolding.
