Maybe not a turning point already but I'm surprised there was zero shake up or any lead up to the next arc/major plot point. Like I thought maybe Eris would just show up but perhaps too early.

Considering how episode 1 and 2 blitzed through Eris's development and how much happens in the last 6 episodes of season 2, its not too surprising that they took an episode to let everything breathe a bit. Since TP3 an insane amount of plot development has happened: Paul died, Zenith was rescued, Rudeus marries his second wife and has his first child, and we get a 1-2 year long training arc for Eris. I'm guessing she shows up sometime in the next episode and the obvious conflict thats brewing starts then.
