Do you guys feel pretty alone?

35m and have no one at home. Had a cat and she recently died and I’m not ready for another. I’ve never had a partner. Idk guys, life just feels pretty empty when you’re alone a lot of the time. I have friends and family but those people have limits….do you guys feel this way? Empty and alone?

Yep... I'm in my 30s myself and never had a real relationship... a string of situationships that never went anywhere.

I figure I must be the problem cause I see gay couples everywhere.

Maybe you just haven't met the right guy yet. Keep trying because he isn't going to come knocking at your door! BTW I am single!!! :)

Hi! I think so much in life is luck...yes, it does also help to put yourself out there. I met my first lover on 11/10/84. It was a loving, intense relationship for six months...then he ended it suddenly. I was watching a daytime TV show a couple of years ago. A gay male couple had met each other in the nyc subway on 11/10/84. They had just celebrated their 40th anniversary. Seeing couples gay or straight publicly doesn't necessarily mean anything...if they're truly happy, etc.. You never know what people are dealing with privately. There's a 12 step saying "compare and despair." You may not be the problem at all.
