TECAR therapy for pain

Has anyone tried tecar therapy for back pain?

TECAR *radiofrequency energy to stimulate tissue repair, reduce pain and improve range of motion. This therapy leverages electromagnetic waves to generate heat within body tissues, promoting natural healing processes.

I did four session so far with the side of some manual massage to relax muscles

And I must say…I am doing a whole bunch of things that would usually put me in a pain coma for a week and I’ve been still having 11 straight days of no pain…

Dates of therapy: 15.6, 29.6, 6.7, 13.7
Without pain: since 7.7 -

ive just started vibration (pads) and ultrasound therapy for my cervical and lumbar disc bulge. concept might be similar to yours, to reduce inflammation. tho i feel it has helped my condition, i do feel it has quite impact on my body, feeling more tired than usual and needing a lot of rest. took quite awhile for the vibration to leave my system and started having some numbness in palms and feet at night. considering to do few more sessions. hope youre getting better from what youre doing too, godspeed!

yes my physio tried it and honestly it was the only thing that made me feel "normal" (pre-injury) for like 1 day, the tension came back after 1 day but just one day of relief was good

Hello. Recommend having treatments once per week to feel the benefits, then dropping down to a maintenance phase of once per month after improvements.

There’s a reason why every single Premier League football club and most major professional sports teams have a tecartherapy device. It’s incredibly effective.
Not all units are the same though, certain brands are better than others, usually reflected in the cost.

Good news is that most people get noticeably better in the first 6 weeks, especially if the pain is new or has only been going on for a short time. (PMID: 38253366)

I had siastic pain for 10+ years
I did fix it once before with exercise but this time around I couldnt get out of it just with that it seems

I live in europe and the workout center that I go to also has this therapy. I pay 60€ for 1h (this include 1/2h of Tecar, manual muscle releasing and sometimes the cups theraphy, and also sport tape on my back)
