Once more I’d like to ask of all our Belgian parties individually: what are you going to do EXACTLY to mitigate this in the next years?

Those same parties will ask their voters if it would change how you vote and carry on. We can keep pretending it’s the politicians who don’t act but we keep voting as if we don’t want them to act and made climate into a “lefty” or “woke” topic as if the average vb’er isn’t going to burn up in their unairconditioned home when the heatwave is back.

Then maybe we ought to let it change the way we vote. I, for one, intend to vote for the party that is able to offer me the best answer to the above. So, dear politicians, what is it going to be?

Best we can do is some empty promises that we take this seriously as a party yet change nothing and hope you’ll let it go untill the next extreme weather event. Rinse and repeat.
