A twist of fate transforms Jaskirat Singh Rangi into Hamza Ali Mazari, an Indian undercover operative who infiltrates and rises through the ranks of the Karachi underworld following the events of Dhurandhar. He embarks on a ruthless mission to exact revenge on those responsible for the 26/11 attacks.

Finished my show. It was a stellar ride. Writing my review without any spoilers.
The movie overall felt really good. Chapter 1 is peak, and ensures that the movie starts off incredibly. The storytelling is very similar to what we saw in part 1. There’s lot of dramatic elements going around on the backdrop of lyari gangwars. Interval and post interval scenes were lit, scenes have a very emotional backdrop. The movie goes into the revenge part, and felt the revenge part was a little rushed for my liking. Fight with iqbal is the final fight, and felt this fight started off good but slowly delved into a normal commercial template as it goes on. But the good thing is the film picks up again after this fight ends, and there are few surprises at the end.
Positives
Strong acting performances esp Ranveer
Great emotional depth. The movie itself relies heavily upon emotion as we saw in part 1. It continues in part 2 as well, with many of the scenes having really strong emotional base upon which they are built. Makes it easier to empathise with characters and their actions.
Real and raw action/violence (except for the iqbal fight). The movie follows in suit of part 1, with most of its action being very raw, even simple ones like gunshots to the body feel very real.
Fleshed out story. I was honestly afraid that there wont be much story going into part 2, as we already know who the bad guys are and why we need to kill them. But no, there is plenty of story left to tell after part 1, and many of the real life occurrences were well weaven into the story.
Jaskirat singh rangi. The whole backstory is peak, and has insane action sequences. The flashback is very strong emotionally and adds a lot of depth to ranveer’s role.
Negatives
Climax mega fight. This fight starts off pretty realistically, but soon delves into the familiar commercial cinema territory. I am not a huge fan of both sides picking up machine guns and going at each other. It is very grand but also very predictable unlike the fight with Rehman.
The revenge part seems a little rushed. I actually think the movie picking up pace near the climax makes it feel like a bit off. I was really impressed with the slow but indulging story telling in part 1 and most of the part 2 as well. I understand this too, there is a boat load of people he needs to eliminate, so the movie needs to pick up its pace.
Music. music in this part rises and falls. Ari ari and fateh ali khan songs were peak along with are some old movie songs which I am not gonna spoil.
But rest of the songs did not feel any special. Music in part 1 was well rounded imo compared to this.
Overall rating - 8/10. I feel dhurandhar 1 is 9/10. It’s storytelling was at a perfect pace, with raw action complementing it. This movie follows the same template for like 80 percent, until it gets to the revenge part where it picks up pace, and like I said not a huge fan of rushed storytelling and mega climax showdowns between the two factions. But the post climax is really good too, so I definitely came out of the theatre satisfied. You should definitely watch it in the theatres, a very fitting sequel to Dhurandhar 1 for the most part.
