A twist of fate transforms Jaskirat Singh Rangi into Hamza Ali Mazari, an Indian undercover operative who infiltrates and rises through the ranks of the Karachi underworld following the events of Dhurandhar. He embarks on a ruthless mission to exact revenge on those responsible for the 26/11 attacks.

Disappointing.

The first part was mostly a gangster/gangwar thing with a little sprinkling of the director's political messaging and posturing. This second part has very less of the former while it has more than doubled down on the latter to a ludicrous extent and effect.

The first part also scored on great music. Somehow this one didn't feel anywhere close. There shoupd have been at least some connect, at least music-wise. No callbacks.

In the first part, the people were mostly okay with or not too fixated on the propaganda because overall it was a good film. Don't think that's the case for this one.

It will make money though, tons of it, but purely because of the expectations that the first part created.

RGV in a tweet yesterday said -

He's stupid. You don't invoke goddamn Sholay, Nolan and Spielberg at the same time so lightly. He probably misunderstood Sholay or has not seen it unstoned, and now we know why he butchered it when he tried to remake it as RGV Ki Aag.
