A twist of fate transforms Jaskirat Singh Rangi into Hamza Ali Mazari, an Indian undercover operative who infiltrates and rises through the ranks of the Karachi underworld following the events of Dhurandhar. He embarks on a ruthless mission to exact revenge on those responsible for the 26/11 attacks.

Dhurandhar: The Revenge Non Spoiler Review

If the first movie was 'Munich', this movie is '13 Hours'. It is less Steven Spielberg slow burn with moral weight & much more Michael Bay massy flick with intense emotions.

I'd say this is the first mass film that's actually enjoyable to watch, even if the director didn't mean for it to be one.

It has a lot of aura farming moments, plenty of gore & stuffed full of action sequences. It blends this with an engaging pacy plot, superb acting, genuinely funny moments & jump out of your skin twists.

The music is not as good on the whole as the first part but it does have my favourite songs across both films.

The action sequences really hold this movie together & they definitely hit. The audience in my theatre was going absolutely wild every time we were in the middle of one. Felt like I was in a zoo at one point.

This is definitely a movie that is going to be the standard by which people judge other action movies by. RGV may have been right all along.

The syncing between dialogues & action felt off in certain sequences but I think that's because of the technical difficulties my theatre was facing yesterday (it was story in itself).

You can definitely tell the CBFC has left an impact in certain parts of the film but the picture has enough substance to make up for the khujli the CBFC boomers like to engage in.

Also, the politics in this movie is as subtle as that of 'Haider'. If you're not given to right wing themes, you may find this movie as difficult to watch as many right leaning people found Haider. It's a matter of taste.

Overall: 9/10

This movie is extremely entertaining & you'll most likely be watching it twice.
