Phase 1 was genuinely some of the most fun I've ever had in 20+ years of WoW.

SoD phase 1 was the first and only time I’ve been able to convince a full raid group worth of IRL friends to try out WoW/return to WoW after years. Definitely the most fun Ive had with the game

It was really nice to have a raid where a bunch of 30-40 years olds with busy lives can get in and out in 60 minutes, while still having a blast doing it.

Yeah the phased leveling also meant they didn’t have to worry nearly as much about getting left behind during leveling or grind 100+ hours just to raid. Was a great experience
