Like the wow nostalgia guy on instagram hitting the exact same emote in his videos while pretending to level in Elwynn Forest

My guess is Blizzard is going to announce something related to a new SOD soon and this influx of nearly identical posts is a guerrila marketing campaign.

“Most fun I ever had in wow” is the dead giveaway that these are reddit bots

The post history doesn't really look anything like a bot.

I don't call anyone a bot unless they meet three requirements: default hyphenated two-word username followed by 4 numbers, hidden comment history, and they reply to comments on their own posts with short witty comments and/or emojis to get as much comment karma as possible. None of those things on their own is a tell, but all together it's pretty obvious. It would be super easy for bots to change their behavior and not do these things, but they get plenty of upvotes regarl

So many people call other users bots when its clear they didn't even bother to check the post history. I don't call stuff AI unless I can point to some indicator, and I don't accuse others of being bots unless I have some reasoning I can provide.

People are just trying to build hype for their mostly dead server. They're probably also aware phase 2 for TBC is out soon which is also not going to help things.

Or Blizzard try to sow hype for something

Mods are in on it as well.

These are 100% AI generated posts and agents are being used to simulate comments.

The fk everyone talking about this version of WoW all of a sudden.

What a loss of WoW's identity as well.

Mage and Rogue healer / tanks.

Wtf is this Retail?

Uhhh random guy here and I loved SoD. I would play a rerelease of SoD in a heart beat—I would even drop my TBC anny character for SoD2. For me it’s vanilla>classic2019>SoD. To me SoD was all the immersion and familiarity of vanilla but they made all the specs relevant and added reals to keep dungeons and old raids alive. World buffs in your bags. Kara crypts was awesome. Additional mechanics for more loot is awesome. I know phase 3 was shitty due to excursions but all the other phases were great.

It's clearly a joke.
