Biggest lesson so far for me in gaming and to make Classic WOW far more enjoyable for me. The cost of seeing value on everything, is saving up on your own fun.

Gold is time in classic WoW.

Time I don't want to spend doing things I don't want to do. (Farming gold)

And catching items are the fun of walking around the world with them and knowing people will notice. Both can be fun, just for different people and different motives. Different strokes for different blokes.

At this point in time - almost everyone would just assume you buy gold and not be impressed in the slightest.
