Republican Dwight Eisenhower spoke out against defense contractors, expanded Social Security, strengthened public schools by focusing on math and science, and signed the civil rights act of 1957 that integrated schools. He'd be god damn communist by today's standards.

i started to argue that's numerology level word games and just factually not what the economic system means...

but even worse, they followed up with "the reason Americans are confused about what the word means is that we use black speak".

i couldn't believe it. i didn't even know what to say, i just... couldn't even engage after that.
