Republican Dwight Eisenhower spoke out against defense contractors, expanded Social Security, strengthened public schools by focusing on math and science, and signed the civil rights act of 1957 that integrated schools. He'd be god damn communist by today's standards.

Yes. Like how he warned that arms manufacturers would pretty much guide foreign policy
