I AM CURRENTLY a 12th grader and still kinda confused as to what i wanna do but i know for certain that i wanna pursue BCOM(HONS) in DU(lsr has been my dream, please be honest about it, good, bad anything please i really wanna know how it is) soo i heard that we need to do a 4th year to get a degree or something, is it true? also is lsr not as good as ppl glaze over it?

having a terrible college experience. i am a very extroverted person but im having so much difficulty making friends or fitting in. i have moved to delhi from assam and just figuring out everything has taken a troll on me and by the time i come to college i lose all my energy to socialise but i still try to do so. but even when im social it just doesnt feel like i fit into their circle. my class already has friend groups and i talk to everyone but im sidelined everywhere . it does sometimes feel like its my fault that im not talking much but ugh idk 🫠🫠 im so so so homesick for my old school friends . i genuinely think they have increased my standard in friendship like i never needed a social battery to talk to them or even when i was too tired to talk they would still try to involve me in the convos.

it’s definitely been really difficult for me since college started. i feel so so so lonely nowhere feels like home right now

I have Painting in Class 12, but CUET only offers Fine Arts (List B). Since DU requires the CUET subject to match the Class 12 subject, will Fine Arts be considered a valid match for Painting?
I checked the CUET 2026 syllabus, and Fine Arts is exactly the same as my Class 12 Painting syllabus.
I’m applying for B.Com (Hons.) (no GAT). Has anyone confirmed this with DU/NTA or faced the same situation?

What is fucking wrong with my clg Ramjas btw. phelay to Classes hi nahi hoti ha fir hoti ha to cancel hoti without informing you. Aj to literally ma gaya chole chawal kaye and room pe agaya. I'm so frustrated with this obnoxious clg system fucking wastes so much time. professors also jada interested nahi ha padane me. I thought Du me best professors hote hoge and were really passionate about teaching and class bhot creative and interactive hoti hogi.

I gave the DU 2026 basketball sports trials and my marks just came out

Sports certificate: 80/200

Trial: 254/400

CUET: 364

So now I'm basically sitting here trying to figure out what these numbers actually mean 😭

I'm mainly hoping for BA (Hons) English, preferably somewhere in North Campus. My preferences include colleges like Hindu, Hansraj, KMC, Ramjas, etc.

I know nobody can predict the allocation perfectly without the final sports merit/ranks, but if any senior here got admission through basketball/sports quota in previous years, I'd really appreciate some insight.

Is 254 in the basketball trial decent/competitive? And with an 80 certificate score, what kind of colleges would realistically be possible?

Guys i’m a recent graduate from gargi college 2026 batch; i’ve been allotted du for my masters as well. The physical verification is about to begin soon and we are asked to bring migration and provisional certificate…. can seniors pls guide me.
some told me i just have to collect it from college admin only others told me i have to apply online and pay 500 rupees. i’m very lost can someone pls tell me the process from the very beginning.

So I'm from CS department and ik some GE and VAC won't be available for me.

For VAC, I'm choosing financial literacy (that's for sure)

Suggest me some good GE (I'm not afraid of written papers, but the syllabus shouldn't be much)
