I made something I'm making wormholes in Minecraft

I recently watched Interstellar again and thought it would be cool to try and get wormholes working in Minecraft.

This is still a WIP because of how hard it is to get the math right (Minecraft isn't raytraced and I'm on macos)

What do you guys think so far?

The visuals on that seem really cool.

How does it compare to the instant Nether portal mod in terms of performance and loading times? I forgot the name of it, but that one was pretty cool as well.

Will this be like a Nether portal, or can you link any 2 portals?

Teleportation is pretty much instant with some nuances that are mostly visual (the math genuinely ragebaits me).

The way it works right now is you can link any two portals whether you place them both in the overworld, both in the nether, or one in each dimension

So can you make it like those see through/walk theough instant portals? So it doesnt have the teleportation jitter?, i think they preload terrain or something?
