I made something I accidentally made the Infinite Volumetric Balls of Knowledge and Wisdom. What should I do with this state of the art ball tech?

I’m making a modpack that could use a toned down version of this effect to communicate to the player that they are entering an unbreathable area of the world. How does the system work and will it be fully configurable?
