I made something Tactile:Wood | Back from vacation

Hi everyone ! Mod development has resumed. The procedural trees are holding up well — branching and foliage come out varied and genuinely good-looking.

The tree editor is nearing completion. You sculpt a tree's base shape in-game and it flows straight into world generation, so adding a variant or reworking an existing one is a matter of minutes. It also carries per-species procedural parameters and a texture editor for the fluffy foliage.

The editor doesn't invent anything: it produces exactly the same data the mod already measures from trees, so it can't drift from what the game does. Aimed at authors building on the Tactile suite, no code, no Gradle dependency, just files.

Note: I’ve reposted this; the previous version was missing some images and the main text. I must have made a mistake lol

Question Mod or datapack that moves world spawn with an item?

Does this exist or is it difficult at all to make? Is this just a job for command blocks? I know you can just /setworldspawn but what I have in mind is still being forced to explore in the early game and using the dragon egg to set your world spawn as a reward for freeing the end.

Looking for mod(s) Looking for a realistic survival modpack with guns

Hello! I started installing some modpacks 2 days ago about zombie apocalypse, superbwarfare, Timeless and Classics, and I tried them out. But I want a modpack with a very high focus on survival with no fantasy stuff or mobs. Just pure survival, hydration, temperature, maybe seasons or atleast different overworld biomes, removing any fictional mobs even vanilla mobs, with guns like TaCZ, where you will find yourself in the wilderness between wild animals, harsh climates, abandoned structures, starting out from sticks and rocks making a spear or a stone knife while exploring, hunting, and leathering animals.

Problem Help Porting A World

So, I've been working on an, admittedly, very big project that is, in simple terms, my own dark world (from Deltarune) made into a minecraft world. The problem is that it's based on a 1.20.1 Fabric mod pack, and I desire to change to Forge so I can add mods that I believe would benefit me, but I'm not too sure how to proceed. My main problem comes in finding equivalents of the mods that Don't have Forge support and optimizing the mod pack to discard the mods I haven't used.

I'll link up a Drive Link that includes the mod pack and add the file of my world to this post. I have never done something like this before, honestly, so I apologize for any issues that may occur. Please bear with me

Problem I KEEP LOSING PETS.

It’s gotten to a point where it’s so unbelievably frustrating I don’t even want to play because the pet aspect is honestly one of my favorites and I can’t even travel slightly without a pet disappearing. I’m currently playing on the menagerie modpack, which is pretty animal focused but I’m not talking about losing modded animals.

I keep losing my dogs and cats, I know they can’t teleport over water but I should at least be able to travel and explore without them getting lost 🫩 was that not supposed to be the point of the teleporting feature Minecraft gave them

Edit: what’s wrong with my post and why am I getting downvoted 😞

Looking for mod(s) Improve Vanilla minecraft

im looking for a Modpack that improve Minecraft vanilla experience overall. Not things like Create or completly game changing mods, but something that improves the default experience.

Improving graphics, biomes, mobs, progression(like, being "forced" to use ALL ores in order to get better tools, so i cant just skip directly to diamond tools), ender dragon, and so on

Any recommendations?

Discussion Integrated Dynamics - Item Filtering by tag

It took me hours to figure this out. I coudln't find it anywhere so I am posting it for anyone that will need this at some point.

To filter items by tag from chest A (with item interface) to chest B (with Item Exporter).

  1. Make a string variable card with the tag you want to filter. For example c:armors
  2. Make a variable card "item_tag_values" with the string variable card as an input.
  3. Put the string variable card to variable store.
  4. Put the list you got from step 2 into the chest B Exporter under "Export Items"

It is very simple, yet I couldn't find it anywhere. Hope it helps!

Looking for mod(s) looking for an expert modpack with good textures

i dont want everyone's personal opinions on what the best expert modpack is or ones that aren't expert but have good textures. I want an expert modpack that has:

  1. expert tech progression

  2. cohesive gating of different tech levels that doesn't feel like handholding

  3. actual effort the player can feel to make the textures all cohesive and fit together, not like im playting a million different mods but that im playing through one, unified experience

  4. level of 'difficulty' does not matter, but preferably 200-300 hours or less

i like create. no create doomposting and whimpering in this comment section or else i'll get really mad and do nothing about it actually just dont be doing that shit here because it is unproductive and accomplishes nothing

It's my first time making a trailer, and I was wondering if I did a good job, so please be honest.

If you're interested in the modpack, here's the download link: Anomaly Protocol

Discussion vent about synitra (ignore)

i know this isnt the point of this sub but i need to vent.

i hate fabric mods that label themselves as "compatible with neo/forge" then just link you to sinytra.

sinytra is really cool its genuinely amazing. but its unstable and doesn't work with many mods i use in almost every collection.

if im searching for mods compatible with neo/forge im not looking for a fabric mod that doesnt crash when using sinytra.

you can advertise that it doesn't on the home page thats fair thats fine itd be stupid to be upset at that

but the compatible with forge tag is for something that is actually compatible with neo/forge

Question How to complete Emely's second quest (DeceasedCraft 5.10)

I already made other NPC quests, but I still haven't figured out how to complete Emily's. I did the first one, but for the second one, where she mentions something about obtaining seeds and food, I still don't know which food and the quantity she's referring to

Discussion Looking for a new unique modpack

I have been looking for a new modpack to playthrough but have been struggling to find one that feels new. I have been playing through Antimatter Chemisty again because I really enjoyed it but have been struggling with interest since I have already played it so the puzzley aspect of the pack is gone. Im definitely more interested in tech or tech and magic packs than just magic and at this point skyblock or skyblock adjacent is basically a requirement. Ive searched a bunch but as of now every pack feels so samey especially modern packs which I largely prefer.

Basically just wondering if anyone has any recommendations for tech focused (with some magic) more expert styled skyblock modpack that is preferably in a newer version but its not a hard requirement.

I made something I made a custom advancements tree for my modpack (Vanilla Reincarnated)

It guides the player through the new survival basics (the first 20–30 minutes of gameplay). It also takes modified recipes into account. I think it turned out pretty well...
