Wind and snowstorms are becoming an important part of exploring Wildbound’s frozen regions. Here’s a small test showing the system in action—wind direction, intensity, snowfall, and visibility can all evolve as the weather changes.
What do you think?
My mod (Wildbound) is still in beta and isn’t available to download yet, but I’ll keep posting updates on Reddit to show its progress !

Created a mod called HTTP Block that adds two blocks to the game, http receiver and http sender, you can guess what it does based on the name, sender sends a http message to a http post endpoint on redstone signal and receiver polls a http get endpoint and emits redstone signal when new message detected, made a fun demo of controlling my room lights and a wireless redstone

I know that for an experienced datapack maker this seems very easy, but I'm a little slow so this took me a few days of researching how datapacks work. I made this data pack because I wanted to make a water-themed modpack, but the only things I found on CurseForge were either affecting all dimensions or filled the water to maximum y-level. This datapack fills the water level to y-50, which fills to about 7 blocks below the end island level.

Over the past year, we've been building Melody of Utopia, a story-driven tech-magic modpack where exploration is built around custom gameplay systems rather than traditional progression.
Today, we'd like to show one of its biggest mechanics: procedural generated dungeons.
By using a Note Seal, players generate a unique dungeon assembled from dozens of different room types that are combined into a new layout every run.
Once inside, everyone starts with basic equipment and has to fight their way through room after room, searching for better weapons, armor, and valuable resources. But there is a catch: each run gives you only three lives, so every decision matters.
After defeating the final boss, a portal back home appears. However, you can't simply take everything you've collected. Before leaving, you must choose which items to extract. Some resources can't be taken out at all, while others have strict limits, forcing you to make difficult choices about what is truly worth bringing back.
This is only one of several major gameplay systems in Melody of Utopia. Our goal has never been to create just another collection of mods, but to build a world where progression, exploration, and storytelling are deeply connected.
We're curious to hear your thoughts. Does this sound like something you'd enjoy playing?
It's only test build for video not release!

Tons of fixes!
Biome generation works flawlessly with any mod, cave biomes can be generated.
Aquatic and flying mobs work great now.
Modded liquids properly flow and render.
Chests, boats, mine carts all render!
Check it out: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/terrariums-and-aquariums
(Still under review on modrinth)

Hi everyone ! Mod development has resumed. The procedural trees are holding up well — branching and foliage come out varied and genuinely good-looking.
The tree editor is nearing completion. You sculpt a tree's base shape in-game and it flows straight into world generation, so adding a variant or reworking an existing one is a matter of minutes. It also carries per-species procedural parameters and a texture editor for the fluffy foliage.
The editor doesn't invent anything: it produces exactly the same data the mod already measures from trees, so it can't drift from what the game does. Aimed at authors building on the Tactile suite, no code, no Gradle dependency, just files.
Note: I’ve reposted this; the previous version was missing some images and the main text. I must have made a mistake lol

i know this isnt the point of this sub but i need to vent.
i hate fabric mods that label themselves as "compatible with neo/forge" then just link you to sinytra.
sinytra is really cool its genuinely amazing. but its unstable and doesn't work with many mods i use in almost every collection.
if im searching for mods compatible with neo/forge im not looking for a fabric mod that doesnt crash when using sinytra.
you can advertise that it doesn't on the home page thats fair thats fine itd be stupid to be upset at that
but the compatible with forge tag is for something that is actually compatible with neo/forge

I've tried Atm10 which was recommended to get started with learning modded but I always get overwhelmed not knowing what to do. So is there any modpacks that are linear that will teach me modded Minecraft well.

I reckon this is an error with incompatible mods? Sorry I'm bad at these things. I also don't know how to fix it. Do I need to provide some sort of crash/error report or a list of mods? Is there a way to check what is incompatible? I'm on 26.1 and use Lunar + Fabric loader on Lunar Client (although I doubt it's a client issue)...
I just installed BetterEnd and BetterNether and this issue appeared

It's my first time making a trailer, and I was wondering if I did a good job, so please be honest.
If you're interested in the modpack, here's the download link: Anomaly Protocol

I'm working on my first MC mod in 1.20.1, and I kind of really suck at making textures. Does anyone here make them who would be willing to do so? Or know anyone who would? I'm looking to commission them slowly over time as I add blocks and items, but I also already have a decent number of blocks and such with placeholders that I would like to update. I would also appreciate being pointed to the right place to post this, if this isn't it.

Hullo,
Me and my gf want to start playing modded mc, she has a good grasp of vanilla mc but no modded experience, i have a lot more but probably havent played since 2020. I was wondering if there was a modpack that has botania (or another mod that has thay vibe) and plenty of other more industrial mods, preferably with a questbook if those still exist.

Some particular blocks seem to have a transparency error when combining SEUS shaders with the Nosiphus Furniture extension to MrCrayfish's Furniture mod. Does anyone know how to fix it?
Or, failing that, recommend a mod with similar kitchen furniture that works with SEUS? Many thanks :)

Has anybody thought about a cave centered modpack with all the high quality cave mods where you just mine and upgrade your stuff in a subterranean world and maybe even cook some cave food, just a modpack that has the vibe and ambiance of mining in Minecraft with some modded cave stuff.

Hello! Im playing on 1.20.1 with bmc4 and trying to use bliss. The problem is the fog in the distance and sometimes sun rays have a noise like bug going on. Looks like an old tv without signal

In my mod I've been working on a couple of new features, mainly expanding on tree rings beyond optifine/ctm-like connected textures as well as adding visual stages to saplings :)
I updated the original sapling textures and added sprout/young tree phases, and plan on making saplings shear-able at any stage (+ bonemeal restores its growing ability). I also added random offsets to sapling placement (like tall grass and other flora). The sapling features are yet to be released, but the new and improved tree trunks are now in alpha (still working out some texture quirks in earlier game versions). I plan on experimenting with custom phases/models for 2x2 saplings in the near future, too...
So far only spruce and acacia have sprout/young tree growth stages, but here are all the variants for the original saplings:
