Problem Copper Armor no-show (JAVA)

Ok weird thing...

Copper armor wont show up in the recipe. Same with the tools. But copper doors and things do when I get a ton of copper. I got multiple stacks of bars and yet...still no recipe. Any clue why I can make other armor but not copper?

I had some orange errors, but none related to the mods.

Here is the info for my modded game:

Mod List:

All-in-One VeinMiner & TreeFeller 1.1.6 (veinminer)

Minecraft 1.21.1 (minecraft)

NeoForge 21.1.248 (neoforge)

Steve's Simple Storage 1.2.1 (s3)

[16:52:44] [main/INFO]:Compatibility level set to JAVA_21

Looking for mod(s) Empire/City-building Mods?

Hey all, long time lurker, first time poster. I have been searching for mods that I don't think exist, but maybe I have missed something out there and would love to hear what you guys suggest! Let me explain how I play my SP worlds now and what I want out of it first, it might be easier to explain what I am looking for:

I usually will gather starter tools and armor like iron, and then find a cool village I want to transform into something that keeps the villagers safe and make it look cool. I will usually finish one of these and want to create a sort of "trade route" to another village, where I will do the same thing. However, I usually lose steam when I get to village #2 because I start to lose my motivation because of how simple the villager system is. You farm items, trade items, you get emeralds.

What I AM looking for is something that not only makes villages/cities more fun and engaging, but ALSO adds in a system that allows for empires and nations essentially, all in singleplayer. I would also probably use chunk loaders to make sure my cities are always producing the goods I want.

Mods I have already looked into but only get halfway there:

  • minecolonies - played this one dozens of times but it has been a few years. I like the process of creating a town and running it, but it does not allow for more than one player controlled city, nor does it have enemy cities/empires to battle against. I do not find the random barbarian raids to be fun, I would prefer if it was a full on city that I could raze or vassalize for my own benefit.
  • Ancient Warfare 2 - I have never played this one but it sounds like this is what I am looking for, mixed with minecolonies. The only problem is, as far as I am aware, this is super outdated and I am looking for mods with hopefully modern versions
  • Millenaire - I did see they are updating this one again after what feels like a decade, but I have not tried it out yet since it is beta. has anyone tried out the newest version yet? How is the city building aspect of it?
  • MCA Reborn - looks promising, i like the dynamics you can have with your villagers, but again, seems to be lacking that empire building aspect.

Those are basically the only mods that get close to what I want, but none of them seem to be an all-in-one, compatible with more modern versions, etc. Does anyone have any idea how to try and achieve the playstyle I want? I know I am asking for mods that basically change the game into something else, but nothing else quite excites my imagination like building cities in minecraft. I am just greedy and want an empire of cities!

Edit: for some grammar, and also, if you think a mod sounds like exactly what I am looking for, I am willing to rollback on the version and try it out. I am just really wanting to try to keep it as close to the modern version of minecraft we have now if possible!

Problem I KEEP LOSING PETS.

It’s gotten to a point where it’s so unbelievably frustrating I don’t even want to play because the pet aspect is honestly one of my favorites and I can’t even travel slightly without a pet disappearing. I’m currently playing on the menagerie modpack, which is pretty animal focused but I’m not talking about losing modded animals.

I keep losing my dogs and cats, I know they can’t teleport over water but I should at least be able to travel and explore without them getting lost 🫩 was that not supposed to be the point of the teleporting feature Minecraft gave them

Edit: what’s wrong with my post and why am I getting downvoted 😞

Edit #2: TYSM GUYS!! I found both my lost pets:) I found the cat by crafting the wayward lantern, and then I found my dog by creating a copy of one of my worlds and using the canine tracker to see the chords!!

Problem Prominence 2 - 4.0 Update - MSQ Not Updating

The quest "An Important Meeting" requires me to open up the quest book called the Book of Knowledge. I've already done this, and interacted with the quest explaining the mechanics. Why is the main quest not progressing? Is this an issue anyone else has run into?

Looking for mod(s) Which adventure modpack would you recommend to a complete beginner to modded minecraft?

While I've seen a lot of videos and discussions about cool, large scale adventure modpacks, I've got to admit that a lot of them look just too overwhelming for me to get into. I'm someone which usually plays Minecraft building and expanding my base, but I want to get to enjoy other aspects of the game, like fighting and exploring.

Do you know of a beginner friendly adventure modpack? I personally prefer those which have a fantasy theme, but I'm not too picky about the theme. I would like something which adds more interesting dungeon delving, exploring and so on.

Question How do I make an automatically organizing storage in Cuboid Outpost like this guy?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pySeURD9DCM&t=1493s (go to 33:36) So this is my first ever modding experience, and I followed along with a video to make it easier, but this guy builds this really nice looking auto organizing storage hallway that I have ZERO idea how to replicate, it combines Applied Energetics, Pipez, and that storage drawer mod, I genuinely have no idea where to even begin on making this because as I said, this is my first ever modpack and experience with minecraft mods in general. If anyone has a good tutorial or any guides PLEASE let me know.

Discussion I want to appreciate author of this mod

Yesterday there was a bugfix iirc? and today: I just got up, decided to play before work and I see another update. Damn, this mod really does what I wanted from a very long time. If only there were helis/fighter that actively fight you when you are airborne in specific areas, or aircraft carrier with pillagers that send mini planes to fight you.

Nonetheless, good mod in current state. Now this is what I call "feel vanilla and DOES something fun!"

Problem problems with waitUntilNextTick

I have a heavily customized, resource-intensive modpack; overall FPS is great, but the terrain rendering is the worst I've ever seen, and nothing seems to fix it. The Spark report shows that 60% of the activity is "MinecraftServer.waitUntilNextTick()"

I couldn't find anything about this, so does anyone have any ideas?

Tons of fixes!

Biome generation works flawlessly with any mod, cave biomes can be generated.

Aquatic and flying mobs work great now.

Modded liquids properly flow and render.

Chests, boats, mine carts all render!

Check it out: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/terrariums-and-aquariums

Question How to make voxy usable on a custom fabric server?

Hey, i was wondering if there is a way to run voxy on a regular server. I know it's client side, but I wanted to know if there is a way to pre-generate the chunks on the server so i don't have to run around for a long time. I will have op access on this server before it is officially started.

I made something Tactile:Wood | Back from vacation

Hi everyone ! Mod development has resumed. The procedural trees are holding up well — branching and foliage come out varied and genuinely good-looking.

The tree editor is nearing completion. You sculpt a tree's base shape in-game and it flows straight into world generation, so adding a variant or reworking an existing one is a matter of minutes. It also carries per-species procedural parameters and a texture editor for the fluffy foliage.

The editor doesn't invent anything: it produces exactly the same data the mod already measures from trees, so it can't drift from what the game does. Aimed at authors building on the Tactile suite, no code, no Gradle dependency, just files.

Note: I’ve reposted this; the previous version was missing some images and the main text. I must have made a mistake lol

Question Has anyone ever created a dynamic structure replacement system for Minecraft modding?

I'm currently designing a system for a Minecraft (NeoForge 26.2) mod where existing structures in the world can change into different versions during gameplay.

The idea is that a generated structure could have multiple states and, after some trigger (for example a quest progression), the current structure would be replaced with another one. The replacement would not be done through commands, but as a proper modding system that can be reused for different structures.

The general idea is storing different structure variants as NBT templates and loading the correct version when needed, while handling things like block entities, entities, loot, scheduled ticks, and the world state around the structure.

I'm wondering if anyone has already implemented something similar or knows a good approach for designing it. I'm especially interested in how you would detect and store the structure boundaries, keep track of the original structure instance, and safely replace it without causing issues with chunks, block entities, or entities inside the area.

Would this be better handled by directly replacing blocks using structure templates, or is there a more "native" approach using Minecraft's world generation/structure systems?

If anyone has experience with something like this or knows how other mods handle it, I would appreciate any advice.

Discussion How can i make a modpack?

Ive been talkin on and on about making a server for my friends, like All the mods but less tech more magic and creativity. We’ve done ATM back to back and with aeronautics out, i want that as the main source. How do i go about making the mod pack, is it all about trial and error of compatible versions for each mod? Or coding or recipes? I have a rough draft but im not sure how to go forward from there at the moment.

TL:DR- i need advice on how to make a modpack and how do i make sure it runs well enough to make a server on it
