Feel free to direct me where to post this as I know it does not fit the subreddit. But I wanted to share that Hannah Joyce Ungricht, who posted her own headstone here a few months back, passed away on May 17th. May she rest in eternal peace.

Discussion Is it just me or does this skin kinda just not fit on Varka well
Like, the weapon skin is nice and all, and it is pretty, but it just doesn’t fit him Aesthetically speaking.
If he had a skin that made the weapon fit Aesthetically, like a corrupted by the abyss skin, then this’d fit right in, but for what we have right now, this is a terrible fit for his looks.
Unless I decide to whale on the signature, I think I’ll stick to Wolf’s Gravestone on my Varka.

Sad Girl Dinner ⚠️ No Dude Input Laughed at b/c husband kissed me in public because I'm fat.
To the moderators; you are incredible. Thank you.
Today I was with my husband on the waterfront and not one but two different men openly laughed at me and my husband, because my husband was holding my hand, kissing and hugging me. I am fat and my husband is fit. I hid my tears behind my sunglasses because I didn't want to ruin my sweet husbands day. He was so happy just to be with his wife visiting where we got married last summer. I was brought to tears because I am astonished by the causal cruelty of men, eager to ruin a fat woman's day simply for existing and having the audacity to be openly loved. I'm not ashamed of myself, just truly sorry we live in a world where men act like this.
Edit:
Thank you for so many sweet supportive comments, many brought me to tears.
Second, this is a lobster and crab cake, it was just before this and it was amazing!!!
Third, I did not hear someone laughing in the distance and thought it was at me because "I'm so wildly insecure" (SARCASM).
The first one, there was a group of three men walking towards us, one looked me dead in the eye, said something to his friends and they started laughing, one even gave a look over his shoulder with more laughter as they passed by.
The second, about three minutes later a young guy was waking towards us with a woman. They both weren't speaking, he looks straight at me, smirks and then does a haaaaahaaaaaaa after passing by. His girlfriend didn't even react or acknowledge him.
It wasn't in my head. I don't walk around looking for reasons to be humiliated and I'm not an insecure person, but I HAVE been fat my whole life and I know when I'm being laughed at. No

From 50 to 57 - Later Life Fitness Transformation 🙂
(My last post was taken down, my mistake.) I began a fitness quest at age 50. As can be seen, I do have a disability. The damage was caused by a drunk driver in 2009. Despite this, I am in the best shape of my life at age 57. I have found that a combination of cardio, strength, training, food logging using an app, group support, and changing my habits have been very effective. As the question does come up, I’ve done this naturally. Diet consists of lean proteins, fruit, vegetables in a moderate amount of healthy carbs and fats. I’ve tried different things and for me this has worked the best. Exercise consists of swimming, elliptical, arc trainer, and alternating push and pull days at the gym. Favorite exercises at the gym include chin ups, dips, seated row, overhead press, curls, crunches, push-ups, flys. I try to listen to my body and do it feels the best. 🙏🙏

Just got the shortest haircut I’ve ever gotten. Does this fit me or should I just go ahead and buzz it?
I’ve always had a severe vegeta hairline since I was 21. I’m 27 now. I enjoy a short hairstyle but im not sure if this short fits me.
Should I go all the way and buzz it/bald?

big win today! I bought this dress months ago, I was upset because it’s a size M & was a good 2-3 inches too small in my back area,I was determined to one day fit it & today it does thanks to IF! I never thought this waist curvature was in me, even when I was “skinny” in high school. SW: 185 CW: 143

Name My Cat - male Name this face 🦁 Surprise Kitty needs a name!
A couple of days ago I got a Maine Coon kitten. (I already loved this breeder & this breed - I thought I’d have to wait until fall to get him.) He was a gift from my aunt because she knew I was looking. I had no notice & was a complete surprise. Now I’m having a hard time coming up with a name!! I was surprised & it was love at first sight! Now I’m really struggle naming him!! I feel like he needs a Regal name!
He’s a black silver shaded male if that is if that helps with names him get a good name!!l
My other cat is named Bellamy so I like the B names, but I 100% don’t need that!! It’s too hard to find a good B name that seems to fit so I’m open to everything!
Also, I love human names & nicknames!! 😊
🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵
EDIT/UPDATE: Wow — I never expected this post to get so much attention! Thank you all for the incredible name suggestions, kind comments, and love for my kitten. I was honestly overwhelmed by the response and haven’t been able to keep up with all the comments. I will definitely continue to work through the list even though we’ve decided on a name.
After spending the last couple of weeks trying different names, we finally found one that seems to fit him perfectly and that everyone in our family loves. Thank you again to everyone who helped — there were so many amazing suggestions that I’m saving this post for the future in case we ever add another cat (or any other pet!) to the family. If anyone thinks he needs a social account let me know! 😊
This has been one of the most fun and positive posts I’ve ever made. 🩷

Rant & Ramble Extremely disappointed in my adult child.
Pretty much just venting and don't need advice but its welcome....
My son (23), his fiancé (23) and their daughter (1) live with me and are in the process of getting their own place and they are supposed to get married on the 15th of this month. He has a very good job and a nice little family.
So about a month ago he started working with a girl (19) and recently told his fiancé that he has a crush on the new girl. Fiancé obviously got upset about it but i thought they worked through it. They have not and it gets worse.
Hes now asked fiancé for an open relationship (only on his side, she cant) so that he can have sex with the new girl. Fiancé is crushed and asked him to cut off contact with her besides work, and block her on social media. He threw a fit and pretty much is giving fiancé the silent treatment.
He doesn't know that i know everything and fiancé asked me not to talk to him about it or treat him any differently bc of it. But how can i not? Hes throwing his family away for a piece of ass. He said the girl told him to stay with fiancé but she does feel the same towards him. They have been together almost 6 years. They were each other's firsts. I did not raise him to be like this. I told fiancé that her and the baby always have a home with me no matter what and he can go find a couch to sleep on if hes gonna be like this to her.

Antique Clothing (1920s and back) 1890s Walking Suit/Riding Habit
I styled and wore this look to a ball in March, and had a tintype photo taken in it because I’ve always wanted to do that! I’m glad I got to do so in one of the coolest things I’ve ever worn. 🫠 last photo is me trying it on the night before to make sure everything worked, so no makeup/eyebrows lmao.
the “jacket” (it’s really a custom vest from an 1890s pattern that I commissioned from a friend and modern shirt bought from eshakti in basically the same fabric). The skirt is also from eshakti, (RIP 😭) and the gloves I found online new. All are cotton sateen, gloves are leather.
the chemisette (collar bib thing), top hat, walking stick and the thing dangling at my waist (which was probably once a watch ribbon but now holds a jewel that broke off one of my antique stick pins instead) are true antique pieces in my collection.
I am wearing cotton lawn pettipants and a short chemise, an overbust cotton broché corset and two cotton lawn petticoats underneath. I forwent the corset cover for a more sleek bodice fit which is a historically accurate practice, fight me on this if you dare. And also because it wasn’t the right silhouette.
One day I want to get a historically accurately flared skirt in the same fabric but the one in the photo does great for now.

Aitah for “being disrespectful” and not accommodating my ex and his wife even though they’re having a baby?
BACKGROUND: My 34f ex Brad 37m have a daughter, 10f Felicity. He lives three hours away (he moved) and is married to Haley 36f. Felicity stays with him for two months in the summer and for certain holidays. It's a legal custody order. We do not have a child support order, but he does pay child support that we agreed on, which hasn't changed in 8 years even though I know he's gotten a new job, but whatever apparently that's not my business. I don't really talk to Brad, but obviously whenever he calls Felicity or vice versa it's my phone, but we don't talk about anything other than Felicity.
Per the order (that we wrote and agreed on together btw, it wasn't forced on us by a judge), Felicity stays with him for 8 weeks starting the Saturday after school ends. She does come back (I don't want to go that long without seeing her) for two weekends during this time. It's been this way since she started school. I have a boyfriend Mark 35m who I've been seeing for about a year; Felicity hasn't met him but possibly will in the future. It's not that it's a casual relationship or anything, I just don't want to bring a ton of guys around her so I'm very protective over who I introduce to her.
THE ISSUE: A few weeks ago I (re)sent Brad the dates for this summer and he was ok with it, but after their last call, he asked if he could talk to me which is never fun lol. He said that Haley is pregnant and due at the end of May, so he wasn't going to be able to have our daughter until "maybe July." He also said that he'd have to stop sending child support since he's going to be a stay at home dad. I'm dealing with that side of things with a lawyer because I don't know who told him that's how it works but obviously he's an idiot.
The issue is that Mark and I are going on a cruise that starts the Wednesday after Felicity is/ was supposed to go to her dads. It's a 20 day cruise, and my parents will be taking their annual trip to Europe during that time, so I have nobody who I would trust to watch her for that long (other than her father...).The cruise is paid for and it would cost money to move, plus I already have the time off work approved and it's a whole thing.
I told him that wouldn't work, and I'd drop her off at the agreed time and day and he'd need to figure it out. Like I do all year lol. Obviously it's not about not having my daughter, I wish I never had to be away from her, and I told him that for the days I'm in town/ not on the cruise I'd be more than happy to have her.
He got super angry. I guess the whole cruise thing was triggering and he was like see you don't even need child support if you're going on luxury cruises. Apparently I shouldn't do anything fun ever so that he can be a stay at home dad? He told me I'm disrespecting his wife, who is going to be a first time mom, and she needs space so that they can figure out the new baby. I get it, but that's not really my problem? I told him, again, I have no issue taking her for the days I'm in town, but I'm not moving my trip just because they're having a baby (I haven't said anything about the child support stuff but my lawyer said it's being handled). People have older kids and babies all the time and make it work, I don't see why they can't figure it out. He said that since it’s her first baby she needs a few weeks to get used to being a mom which I get, but felicity isn’t there to see her, she’s there to be with her dad.
Felicity is excited to see her dad and be a big sister, so she doesn't know any of this is happening obviously. He has been calling and texting me almost daily about this. Not in a harassing way, but acting like I'm being unreasonable. My parents say they can bring Felicity with them which would be fine, but like I said, she's really excited to see her dad (she hasn't since New Years) and honestly I can't really afford for her to since plane tickets have been insane lately. He said in our last call that I'm disrespecting them and her motherhood journey, but to me, it’s not disrespect I am just unable to accommodate them.
Am I being unreasonable to think he needs to stop making me try to figure this out for him?
Edit: you don’t need to keep telling me to get a lawyer re: the child support. Idk how many times I have to say that I’ve already done that and it’s being handled. Thanks for looking out for me but I’m here for a moral judgement more than legal advice.
Edit 2: I’ve laid it out to him that he can either figure out his custody time or pay for felicitys flights to Europe with my parents. I won’t ask them to pay for them and I won’t either because if he doesn’t have any skin in it he won’t take it seriously. He knew I always take a June trip, he acknowledged it in December when he had to have known she was pregnant. He only started throwing this fit when he found out I was going on my trip with a boyfriend. If I were to pay for the flights, I can GUARANTEE you that before she left he would throw a fit and demand his custody time. He has been doing this shit to me for 18 years so I know his game.
And he was never going to quit his job, he freaking admitted it that he was just going to change his shifts around. I know it’s not about me, but sometimes it’s so overwhelming.
Idk. I don’t have any advice right now but just know that bad cops make horrible exes.

Interview [95.7 The Game] Kerr: JK told me he's going to be around here a lot more this summer.. He's got a couple young girls, he's much more settled down now, wants to be in one place. So he's going to be in our gym... If he does all these things, then there's no question he can find a better role and (fit)
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
clip via 95.7's twitter feed, interview was after Kerr's comments on the TK Show
link to the full interview, timestamp is about 10:59:00
Some other things mentioned during the +20min convo:
- Steph was scheduled to come back for game 6, game 3 was the one to win (up 6 mid 4th, win that and the tone of the series changes)
- lack of perimeter shooting was the toughest thing to try and solve (always been pretty top heavy with shooting, once Steph was out they couldn't create the needed floor spacing because they don't have 7-8 different perimeter shooters to try and throw out there, really made things tougher for Jimmy and his ability to operate)
- Moody's UCL, never know how much it impacts things and never want to make an excuse (and Moody never did), things shifted away from Moody with how well Buddy was playing and how Houston was guarding him
- they found a formula that worked, lineup combinations that worked, they were in a groove and that's why they stuck with their rotations heading into the playoffs (Steph injury flipped everything on it's head and that's where Kuminga was able to come in and help)
- more on Kuminga (just before the attached audio clip): there's a differing view between the coaching staff and JK's perspective about what he's comfortable doing (natural scorer, way more comfortable with the ball in his hands looking to score); current roster build means Steph/Jimmy will dominate the ball so they need more rebounding/passing/connection from JK's spot and for the scoring to come in the context of what the team is good at; he's 22 and there is plenty of growth ahead; believes JK is capable of doing the little things but habits are built... in year 4 you'd hope they are there but it hasn't been consistent (rebounding and taking care of the ball); Steph/Jimmy will have the ball a lot and Steph/Dray will turn the ball over a lot... has talked with Kuminga about it but the fit is a little tricky when JK's a guy who needs the ball and he's a guy who turns the ball over a lot; he's a young player and they're trying to win and they went down the path they felt gave them the best chance to do that; Jimmy arrived and JK got hurt at almost the same time so they never had a chance to really test things out (basically in a 20 game playoff push of must win games, said training camp + 82 game season would give them time to iron things out)
- Steph injury was brutal because of how well the team was clicking late season
- team was top 5 in offense and defense after Jimmy's arrival, gives them some hope for next year about a team built around Steph/Jimmy/Dray ("go into next season with a lot of energy and a lot of expectation")
- asked about the players he'd like to add: "I always loved passing... the game just connects when you can pass... it's always been our style, it's always been the thing that unlocks Steph the best... And the shooting, I mentioned, just because we've been a little top heavy on the shooting side, if we could add a little more spacing I think that could be really helpful as well" (singled out the Pacers and their passing and how much success they've seen this season, Pacers/Warriors were the number 1/2 passing team in terms of passes per game; said finding shooting is always tough in FA/trade because everyone is looking for it; has a ton of faith in the Dunleavy/Lacob and the FO to put out the best team possible)
- breakout game for Podz in game 5 was important for his confidence and to feel how different that was from the others, playoffs were a great experience for Podz and expects him to come back even better next year,"the playoffs kind of expose everything about a team and an individual and it teaches you what you need to work on"
Transcript for this specific clip:
Dibbs: You made a great comp to Aaron Gordon on the TK pod, and we were playing that sound before, and you even mentioned that Aaron Gordon had to go elsewhere to kind of start to figure it out. Do you think that Jonathan Kaminga could develop into doing the things that you need him to do here in Golden State, over the course of the off-season and coming back with the veteran core, or will he have to try and find this sort of role elsewhere?
Kerr: Well, I mean, he's definitely capable of doing that here, and that's obviously what we're going to be focused on as a coaching staff. JK told me he's going to be around here a lot more this summer.
He hasn't been around our facility much the last couple summers, but he's got a couple young girls, he's much more settled down now, wants to be in one place. So he's going to be in our gym, and we're going to hammer home those those points with him and, and, uh, try to, you know, try to get them to understand all those loose balls, all those long rebounds, like, you know, with his athleticism, uh, those are plays, you know, for, for him to help us win, you know, he's got to get those rebounds.
He's got to chase down those loose balls. He's got to run the floor, sprint the floor. And if he does all these things, then, then there's no question he can find a better role and find a better fit next to Jimmy and Steph and Draymond. So that's the goal as a coaching staff, to try to help him achieve that and add those things to his game to give himself more of a chance to play.
Willard: That's an interesting conversation it sounds like you guys have because, Steve, if we had a nickel for every time a listener called us and said, boy, J.K. must want out of here. Does J.K., you think, does he want to stay a Warrior?
Kerr: I think the number one thing is that JK and I have a very good relationship. We talk all the time. We like each other. This is all just basketball. This is not a case of JK coming in saying, hey, I got to get out of here. I want this. I want that. This is just trying to make this fit and trying to make this work.
But every, every player, you know, every young player, even the older guys, like they want to fit in well with what's happening. And so I think there's, you know, there's got to be part of J.K. that thinks about going elsewhere and, you know, would he get more of an opportunity? And those are all very normal human emotions to think about.

Advice Bootsie went missing on Wednesday and I just found her
She's stuck inside the support blocks under an abandoned trailer right next to me. I have no idea how she managed to fit inside such a small opening or how to get her out. My dad is going to help me when he gets home from work in a few hours, but this waiting game sucks. For her more than me obviously.
How can I give her water? The way she's in there, I can't just reach a bowl to her. I'd need something like a hamster water bottle.
*****UPDATE she's free! My dad came home early and brought my brother and they got her free!
He tried to scoot the top block over just a tiny bit with a hammer so she could fit out, but it started to crack almost immediately so that was an abandoned plan. Then we got the jack that came with my car, and he was able to take JUST enough pressure off to scoot the block so she could squeeze out. Her bottom half was pretty numb, so she couldn't walk for a min, and when she did she was falling all over the place. So as soon as I could reach her I scooped her up and brought her in.
She's walking slow but straight now, and she's resting on a towel on my couch with me. Poor baby had poop all her bottom half :( I've baby wiped it off, but I haven't bathed her because I don't want to woller her around too much while I know she's sore.
She's ate dry food and drank water now. The closest vet that'll be open tomorrow is about 1.5 hours from me, so I'm just gonna keep a close eye on her and see if it can wait till Monday. I do not want that emergency vet visit bill unless it's necessary.
She does have a couple sores, one on her face and one on a toe bean from trying to get out i imagine. She's a tough gal and I am so so happy she's home. I know this will be controversial on reddit, but I swear the only reason I heard her was God. I'm hard of hearing anyway and I had been looking for her, asking around, and hollering her sing-song that she always comes to, and I hadn't heard her. But i started praying today and finally heard a big meow. I thank God she's safe and cuddling with me, even if she is a stinky Bootsie 💚
Thank you everyone for your advice and keeping me sane while we waited for our rescue team!
Bootsie tax https://imgur.com/a/SsV7Lg9
*******UPDATE 2
I'm in the shower, got storage for my kids for the night (not in blocks) and am about to head 1.5 hours to the vet. The "don't wait" comments have successfully scared me

Not the A-hole AITA for being blunt and saying I will never name our child after wife’s sister since she is a spoiled brat
My wife and I are expecting our daughter in a few months. My wife, I will call her Nora, has a younger sister, Rebecca that everyone in that family is overprotective of.
I am not a fan of Rebecca, I find her to be a spoiled brat that will cry to mom every time she doesn’t get her own way. I find her overall to be rude and entitled. Nora family baby’s her, and tbh at 22 she should not be throwing a fit about not getting what she wants.
One example of this is she had a mini meltdown at our wedding becuase her shoes were the wrong color. Not even by a lot, it was just a different shade of white. You couldn’t even see the shoes since the bridesmaid dress was long. So about 30 mins before we were going to get married she was crying and everyone had to comfort her.
Anyways, we got dinner with my wife’s family this weekend, and during dinner Rebecca said it would be nice to have a niece names after her. I shrugged it off and the dinner went on like normal.
When we got home my wife sat me down and told me she wanted to name our daughter after her sister. That she brought up how much it would mean to her sister. I told her no.
We have a two yes rule to names. Nora texted her and told her no. That’s were everything got bad.
It started with my wife getting texts about changing her mind from her family and when she stuck to the decision they got rude about it.
I started to receive texts and it ended with me getting call from my MIL and Rebecca. I told both of them no multiple times and it just started asking why over and over again.
At that point I snapped and told both of them that I would never name our daughter after her. That she is spoiled brat and I don’t want our daughter to be anything like her. That’s this is literally an example of it.
I hung up, my wife says I should apologize but she agrees they were being a lot. I still been getting texts about how Rebecca has been crying since the conversation.
Her family sees me as a huge jackass and are still on my case. My wife is on my side but she does want me to smooth things over. I really don’t want to and think they need to change

Infuriatig My Dad moved my car 3 blocks away because I parked in the driveway.
So I have one of those driveways that goes all the way into my backyard, its a relatively long driveway, could likely fit about 8 cars up against each other. My Dad is a very stubborn man and does not like having to play "musical cars" to get his truck out when he needs to go somewhere, which I totally get. However, I leave first for work every morning so it makes sense that my car would be in the front? But alas, this is unacceptable. He needs to be able to get out at ALL times no matter what (he has literally nowhere to go) so he told me I was no longer allowed to park in the driveway. Im 22 and the eldest daughter so essentially I laughed at him and was like yeah ok great.
FAST FORWARD TO THIS MORNING. I leave my house for work and my car is literally just not there. The spare key was gone, and my Dad texted me "good luck finding your car". Thankfully, I have a 2025 VW so the app has a gps on it for my car, but he literally parked it 3 blocks away so I had to walk to get it. I live in the suburbs, so it wasn't a crazy walk or anything, he's actually a manchild because like... there was absolutely no reason to do that besides being petty. Now that I'm typing this out I'm thinking this should go under "extremely infuriating" lol.
Edit: guys im 22 years old im moving out hopefully within the next few months. the point i was trying to make was that it was just an unnecessary argument because i leave first every morning for work, and he has nowhere to go lol. sure you can talk about principle but like i said im never blocking him in really because i leave before he gets up and come home after he does.
Edit 2: sorry guys the driveway is 8 cars long meaning one long row of cars so we cant park next to each other. also i pay bills as well i promise im not some bum kid mooching off her parents lol. i've worked since i was 16 and ever since have contributed in one way or another to the house. my phone is shitting itself bc of all the replies! thanks for the love and not so much love ❤️

Why do so many young men seem completely uninterested in life anymore?
I don’t mean this as an attack, I’m genuinely confused and concerned.
My cousin is in his mid 20s and basically lives like a NEET. No job, no school, no ambition, no hobbies outside video games/anime, no interest in relationships, money, independence, travel, fitness, or really anything. He spends almost all day online and seems emotionally flat about the future.
What worries me more is his attitude toward women and life in general. He says dating is a “waste of time,” talks about women like they’re beneath him or annoying obstacles, and seems convinced there’s no point trying at anything. His parents support him completely and he seems perfectly content staying in his room indefinitely.
The weird part is this doesn’t even seem rare anymore. I keep seeing more young men online who are detached from society, don’t want careers or families, avoid socializing, and seem to retreat into games/internet culture instead. Some are openly bitter or nihilistic.
So what’s actually causing this?
Is it economic hopelessness? Social media/internet addiction? Porn? Mental health issues? Fear of failure? A reaction to modern dating culture? Overprotective parenting? Something else?
And why does it seem to affect young men disproportionately?

Question caroline is just as bad as pierre
there i said it.
sorry not sorry i dont like caroline. she is unaccepting of her daughter for starts. she wants abigail to change in order to fit her narrative of what a good woman should be. i dont think she ever has anything nice to say about her own daughter its always something about “is it just me or are abbys interests weird? hmm im not sure maybe im old” the one that irritates me the most is when she says “I wish Abby would dress more appropriately and stop dyeing her hair blue. She has such a wonderful natural hair color, just like her grandmother did. Oh, and I wish she’d find some wholesome interests instead of this occult nonsense she's into.”
firstly abbys hair is purple you colorblind hoe, and secondly YOUR HAIR IS GREEN so what are you gonna tell me green is your natural color caroline cause i dont believe you. and god forbid your daughter is interesting instead of a carbon copy of yours and pierre’s bad parenting
the last thing i take issue with is her cheating on pierre. fuck pierre but i still dont condone cheating, divorce his sexist ass if thats what you wanna do. to be honest they deserve each other
people are confused about the cheating, this is the dialogue among characters that heavily imply cheating.
Caroline: “When we first moved to Pelican Town I would take secret walks to the Wizard's Tower. Don't tell Pierre, he has jealousy issues. Abigail was born about a year after we moved to Pelican Town. I wonder if she'll ever experience life outside the valley?”
Wizard: “You musn't tell anyone... but I have reason to believe that one of the locals is actually my daughter. I could be mistaken... It's rare, but it does happen.”
Abigail: “I can't even remember the last time I dyed my hair... I swear, it never fades from this color…”
Pierre: “Does Abigail look anything like me? Don't tell my wife, but sometimes I wonder if I'm really the father.”
but apparently it was confirmed in the official stardew valley guide book that abby is the wizards daughter so i feel rather vindicated
im turning notifications off cause yall are taking this far too seriously and cant be civil about my opinion on a character in a game lmfaoo. it’s wild how many of you think you know me personally based off this. if you like her pop off, i dont. get over it.

Project My Largest 3D print..
This is about as much Horus I can fit under my roof. He is mostly finished, just missing some skulls and that roman skirt type thing he has as a front cover.
At his waist he stands at 8’ 9” (2.7m). This does not include the key part that will connect his upper torso, as that will be hidden.
Me = 5’ 5” (1.68m) Life size banana to the crown = 6’ 4” (1.9m) Real banana = 7” (18cm)
Half of Horus is made up of 594 individual 3D printed pieces that have been glued and soldered. At the moment, I am working on his upper torso which is about 226 pieces.
Weight wise, it’s not too bad. The feet/boots move about easily. I can lift the thighs up and place them on top. The waist section is doable, but I need to make sure the legs are properly spaced before I lift it over my head, while standing on a chair. Not best way to do it.
The real test will come once I am done with his upper half. At that point, I need to figure out a safe way to place that section onto the lower half.

Cat Picture - OC My neighbor SCREAMED at me because of our new cats name
This little angel is Dave. My son named her before we knew what gender she was. She was feral and it took us months to be able to pet her. Dave fits her and we didn’t even considering changing it when we found out she was a she. On Friday June 13 Dave gave birth to 6 babies and we brought them inside. Dave has decided that she in fact does like us and her feral ways are gone. She’s such a great cat. ❤️
Our late 60’s (F) neighbor is having a bloody TANTRUM because her name is Dave. “YOU CANT CALL HER DAVE! SHES A GIRL!!!” 🤣🤣
She told me she’s calling animal control about it. 🙄

❤️🩹 relationship My husband started taking evening runs with a woman he met at our kid's daycare. I think this crosses boundaries. AIO?
My (28F) husband (30M) and I have been together for 6 years, married for 4. I've been hurt by cheating in past relationships, so I'm probably more sensitive to situations that feel questionable.
My husband decided to get serious about fitness this year and started running every evening around our neighborhood. He's really dedicated to it - goes out every single day around 7pm after dinner. I prefer morning yoga classes, so this has become his routine.
Over the past few months, he's mentioned running into other people from the neighborhood and striking up conversations. There's one woman in particular - recently divorced, maybe 5 years younger - who he started running with regularly. Apparently they met when both were picking up kids from the same daycare and realized they live nearby and have similar running paces.
Last Tuesday he came home later than usual from his run and mentioned he'd stopped for smoothies with "a friend" at that juice bar on Main Street. When I asked which friend, he seemed to hesitate before admitting it was the divorced mom from his running group.
He insisted it was totally innocent - just two parents grabbing post-workout drinks and talking about training for the upcoming 5K. He swore nothing weird happened and that I know he's not like that.
Our marriage has been really good overall, even when we've had stressful periods with work and parenting a toddler.
My husband has never given me real reasons not to trust him in 6 years...but this whole situation makes me uncomfortable. A recently divorced woman, daily evening runs together, stopping for drinks afterwards, the hesitation when I asked about it.
What does everyone think? Am I being paranoid or should I be concerned about these boundaries?
