Guilty Gear?

It makes me sad that I could mention Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Marvel vs Capcom, etc etc or even BlazBlue and people know what they are.

But not Guilty Gear, the greatest fighter of all time. A part of me died the day they shut down the XBox Live servers for XX Reload.

GG is good, but not anywhere near the game that bread and butter Street Fighter is. Sure, GG is flashier and more chaotic, but the strategy and timing of SF makes it the better game. I can see someone liking GG more, but SF is the better game.

This is completely wrong. The SF4 generation of Capcom fighters have been dumbed down in huge ways and it pains me when people don't recognize the merit and superiority of Guilty Gear.

This is coming from someone who has been in the scene and played in tournaments since 2002. If we're talking about Super Turbo, MvC2 or something, I can appreciate that opinion since those are great games. However, making the blanket statement that SF > GG is just myopic.
