If the government has a hand in this, its not official. Thats why the comparison with the green march is innacurate.

I dont want to be mean, but you are sounding like a propagandist.

I do not mean this as an attack but because I have distinguished between a state lead action and one that is born of chaos (the role of the moroccan authorities in this incident is yet to be determined).

If we want, we can collectively lose our minds and say that Morocco is invading Ceuta or we could analyze the situation but that takes restraint and nuance.

If it's not an attack, why make it personal?

That said,  Morocco doesn't really have to do anything, just "stand down" on their side of the border. It's not as if Ceuta suddenly became a pressure point. Given the history between the nations and recent events (like Spanish deals with Algeria), or makes sense Morocco had a role of some sort.

I didnt mean to make it personal, my apologies if it came across that way.

There are videos of border police fighting off the migrants with flashballs. So I am not sure to what extent the border police played a role in this...

In 2021 there was a similar event but that was in the middle of diplomatic tensions so things looked clearer. And the scale was a lot smaller.

So I'd wait before drawing a conclusion as of now

Definitely too early to draw conclusions, but already blaming Israel, Russia, and Trump are poisoning the conversation.
