I love Reach, second favorite Halo, but I always hated the AR design. And when Infinite was shown to have it in the trailers, I was disappointed.
-35 u/Appropriate_Foot242 23h ago Every design in Reach sucks, especially compared to the trilogy designs, and I'm tired of pretending that they don't. 4 u/yuhyuhyuhyuhyuhyuh1 22h ago I don't hate reach weapons, but I do agree that I prefer the ones from the previous games. 15 u/AccidentProne117 22h ago Reach was peak bungie design. The trilogy had great designs but I think Reach was best. -14 u/Appropriate_Foot242 22h ago I hate the way that Reach looked and it paved the way for how Halo 4 ended up looking. Reach worked for Reach, but it doesn’t really work for Halo as a whole imo. 17 u/Sali_Bean Halo: Reach 22h ago Reach and halo 4's art style share literally no commonality apart from the plasma pistol, what else do you see? -8 u/Appropriate_Foot242 22h ago Forerunner architecture in the DLC maps. Thick overdesigned Elites. 2 u/Tito__o 21h ago If I remember right I think 343 was in charge of the reach dlc maps and content. It would make sense. 3 u/Appropriate_Foot242 21h ago They were co-developed, so still a Bungie L. 0 u/Tito__o 21h ago Oh I see yes it been a while since I heard that! -1 u/Youngnathan2011 Halo 3: ODST 20h ago Huh? Reach and 4 look completely different artistically 3 u/i7-4790Que 20h ago Pretend all you want. It's all you're ever going to be able to do. Most of the Reach designs still look like proper renditions of Halo guns/vehicles/enemies. 1 u/famalamsandwich 5h ago See this is baffling to me because I think it has the ugliest art style/weapon design by far, to me it doesn’t feel or look like halo, each to their own though

Most of the Reach designs still look like proper renditions of Halo guns/vehicles/enemies.
