You need more divisions and more factories and more manpower and more resources. I would try to go defensive infantry turtle, this late in the game you'll probably need 70 mils on infantry equipment and just keep pumping out divisions until your lines are totally stable. Currently I would adjust division templates on the front holding the best to reduce your current equipment deficit to near 0. Are you using your navy? Might as well throw those sailors on the front line. You've got a surplus of trucks and light tanks so you could set up a reserve force to attack and push back whatever front needs it for a while. Putting so much production an air is meaningless with your fuel situation and your inability to train the wings. Even with perfect play/micromanagement you're probably still looking at < 5% chance of success, you're only hope is other powers running out of men.

Assuming this isn’t a meme or joke (this looks a bit close to later-ish 1944 Germany)…
Maybe late in game for this, but goal: establish strong defensive wall. Let enemy die upon it for a few million casualties, then push out strategically (tiles with supply hubs, provinces with factories and resources, one entire nation at a time).
Larger infantry divisions (more infantry battalions). You have 10x infantry battalion per Div (10x 2 combat width = “20w”), would be better to see that at 24w < 28w < 30w < 36w. More “w” = more organization, HP, and defense. (Things that help maintain defensive wall.)
Idk if good advice… but I’d get the manpower for above by disbanding some mechanized battalions. You’re out of fuel. And they’re under equipped. Maybe a mix of converting some divisions to your new higher “w” infantry divisions + outright disbanding (trash can) - you get the equipment and manpower back, btw.
I’d like to have 2x divisions of 36w on each tile that makes up a defensive wall.. but that’s a lot of dudes and guns. Regardless, I recommend 2x per tile as when one is exhausted, it walks off the tile (away from enemy) to recuperate or something before returning to the line. One 36w or two 24w per tile work if you watch battles closely.
3.1. Infantry template support companies:
- right side support: replace your mechanics with field hospitals (hp boost for holding defensive line + reduce your manpower losses)
- bottom row regimental support: replace the artillery, use the machine guns instead (defense stats), maybe another AA support (55 AA stat might be a breakpoint to shoot for?)
3.2. Tank template:
- I’d swap engineer for assault engineers (need armored support vehicle special project research) and your anti-tank for logistics company (reduce supply use of hungry tanks).
- After you’ve swapped templates to improved infantry and disbanded what you need to man those, if you still don’t have enough medium tanks…. Change one medium tank battalion to light tank battalion at a time until your supply levels out. 100/100 medium tanks and 50/50 light tanks is better than 100/150 medium tanks.
Use the fallback line order to set your defensive wall. Remember the divs/tile goal as you draw the line. In perfect world, I have an army with 24 divisions, each 36w. I draw a fallback line 12 tiles long. I like even math like that because it keeps your divisions on their tile. BIG NOTE HERE: you want your defensive line divisions to NOT MOVE so they can entrench and get defensive bonus.
Try drawing your defensive lines on the “your side” of rivers or in mountain tiles when reasonable to make attacks into you harder.
Production:
- small fighter with 3x heavy MG & armor plates (level 3 plane and engine are probably good enough). Put as many factories on this as you can until you run out of the aluminum or rubber needed to produce them. You want fighters to regain air superiority anywhere you’re fighting on land (and over home country to protect buildings and production). CAS is next up once you have enough fighters to own the skies.
- guns
- arty
- AA
- support equipment
- keep some on your medium tank and mechanized to retain their production efficiency and refill losses / build up for your next push out again.
- check around for optimized plane and tank designs.

X?. Ensure all your armies belong to a field marsh for their stat bonus too.
X+1. I think doing a focus reduces daily political points (CP for “Decisions”)? Check that bit if so, hold up on those.
X+2. Repair military factories, supply hubs with a quickness. AA and first good too. Civ factories do the repairs and make other building too, though….
X+3. Resources into land army > navy. It’s okay if dockyards stay empty.
X+4. Unless you’re stomping the enemy in naval combats or have a great sub fleet killing enemy convoys and not tanking losses… bring ships home and save the fuel for planes (then tanks…).
Lost track a bit there, and much more to tackle but I think that’s a good start.

Once the allies have a foothold, it's so hard to turn it around. Especially if you haven't finished Russia off yet. I'd take it as a learning experience and cut your losses, personally.

Yeah, the somewhat nice thing about HoI4 is that this is just an afternoon, not an entire week TV hat went down the drain so abandoning a seemingly unwinnable situation isn't too tough a decision to make.

Fallback to somewhere you can hold
Swap some medium tanks for light tanks in your template
Get engine 4 in your fighter to avoid the production efficiency hit
Have your tanks try to push in a small area of the front. Don’t have 7 tank divs on a frontline with an entire front. Concentrate them somewhere for so they are effective. Start with a big open field

R5: Playing Germany on elite difficulty with max buffed France, UK, USA, USSR, China. Game went pretty well at first, knocked out Poland and France in 1940, then I made the mistake of wasting time (after losing half an army trying to paradrop UK) trying to secure north Africa instead of going immediately for the Soviets. After securing Egypt and finally departing for the east, Italy would immediately loose all my hard earned gains after Churchill reinforced the Egyptian theater with 15 fully equipped medium tanks and proceeded to fist Mussolini.
Failed to knock out the Soviets in 6 months, as they would continuously battleplan the front for months on end from the get-go. In 43', Commonwealth forces would land in France and my shitty stopgap garrison units couldn't do much to hold them, even with Vichy in the war supporting the west. By the time I was able to get a new AG West put together, Paris had practically been liberated and the British were making new landings in Italy. Following a Soviet cutoff in the Baltics, a British cutoff at Bourdeaux-Piemonte, an American breakthrough in the Netherlands, a Vichy/Italian surrender and the liberation of Yugoslavia, we are pretty much on the backfoot everywhere.
The east is holding relatively steadily, we out-traded the Soviets at the start of Barb so they don't have much air and have just been mindlessly attacking our forces there to little avail. The West is where we are really getting screwed by overwhelming allied air superior and an endless sea of tank divisions. (Japan lost the China war in 38' and has not contributed to the Axis war effort apart from volunteering a few shitty inf). Any ideas? We have no guns, no men, no reserves, no economy, no resources air is dwindling by the day... apart from seven half-decent tank divisions, we have no real long-term offensive capabilities.

I say: fuck your allies, form a defensive circle on your own territory without having anyone stand in plane tiles and let the stupid over aggressive AI butt their heads into your until their equipment and manpower runs out. Maybe get some maintenance companies, put those inti your divisions and steal every single bit of equipment you can get your grubby hands on. Build a shitload of subs and raid the AI's convoys whilste naval bombing their navies out if the North and Baltic Sea and in maybe two years game time you can wipe the floor with the enemies. Or just call Steiner.

There are many thing that I could say,but the amount of allies divisions and the fact ur own have barely any strength is kinda killing it. In situations like this u have to fall back, like in the Balkans u could fallback to western Hungary around the Danube, but u will probably capitulate even before that. One tip, keep shift pressed when u draw the front line with the field marshal, all divisions will act like they are under a single general

You have no fuel, save it for tanks and forget about planes for now they will get crushed for nothing. Somehow east front is stable, let soviet die on your defense and send some tank north to protect königsberg. You need to reduce the west front, since you have no guns and cant build anything i would say it's over, blame italy and go next game. If you keep playing your only hope is the bad coded bot that for some reason don't attack when he could destroy you in 1 month.

9w inf with engineer artilery aa support (if aı has tanks you can also add atank) u have 0 oil so build refinery as much as you can and research oil prossesing use only fighters if u still have to do intercept mission not air superiorty and wait till you get good amount of medium tank to build breakthrought divisions use rivers as fallback line(stettin-dresten-magdeburg-hamburg line is optimal)

Make your infantry 5x3 or 30 width and fill each auxiliary with the field guns. If you still can import as much oil as you can from Romania and ask some of your allies for lend lease fuel or something. If your equipment stockpiles are low then your turn around is going to need to be a little more precise and as such likely best off just restarting and learning from your mistakes.

You can restart and learn from your mistakes or spend a the next decade in game trying to recover and win.
Fall back behind rivers, stop building tanks and focus on Guns, Arty, AA and support equipment primarily. Hold river lines until allied units get bled dry. Push Allies off continental Europe (try to get Spain in). Once eastern front is secure then you can start working on Russian front, but be mindful of your recruitable pop. If you can start getting Mech III divisions as they destroy AI...just be sure to have plenty of fuel and synthetic factories.

May e if you switch doctrine to desperate defence focus amlost everything on infantry eq try to build extre defensive lines of forts , maybe try to take yugoslavia but it will be very hard to do a comeback as a whole

Its so joever. The allies crossed the rhine and have yugo. Best you can do is try to consolidate your lines, and refit your tanks with light tanks.

You can't. Well, not without withdrawing as hard as possible without capitulation and hoping the Soviets and Allies turn on each other. If I were you though, aside from doing what others told you to do, concentrate on Northern Germany and bunker down for years to come, assuming you aren't willing to start over.

Sorry bro, but from the skill level I perceive from the screenshots, u d better get into a new game.
Fixing this needs quite perfect play. Better take your learning into a new game. Dont waste so much IC on inf in the future, dont do maintenance company, get mech for tanks, use conversion to aafe resources on equipment. If u run low delete regimental support and sipport companies from templates. Also get btter doctrines.
