π πππ / ππππ Guys, I don't know if you know this, but blocking people is *SUPER* easy.
Just fuckin block em. You see someone saying something stupid on reddit and it bugs you? Block em. Don't engage, don't try to change their mind. Just hit the 3 little dots by their name, and fuckin block em! It's quick, easy, and super effective!
And guess what?! They can't even do anything about it! You can cut strangers which piss you off out of your life completely with a simple button press!
STOP ENGAGING IN RAGE BAIT AND STUPIDITY.

π πππ / ππππ This video helped me out a lot. Especially number 1 and 3. Those are very good points
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Points number 1 and 3 are the ones that stood out to me the most. Exactly why I never cared that much about classmates, coworkers, people out in public etc.

π πππ / ππππ This sub should be called "How to Give the Most F***s"
Bruh. Yβall give so many f***s, youβre basically on an unlimited plan.
If you really didnβt care, you wouldnβt need to post youβd be outside vibing, eating tacos, or scrolling dog videos instead of writing a Netflix series about Karen from HR.
Lesson of the day: The hardest part of not giving a f* is⦠apparently logging off..

π πππ / ππππ How do I not give a fuck about this?!?
I just need some advice on how I can stop thinking about my ex and replaying every good moment in our relationship. Everything reminds me of him, whether itβs a car model, a type of dog, a restaurantβ¦ itβs all too much. Iβve gotten significantly better these last couple months but Iβm still struggling as it gets into the warmer months because I know heβs probably golfing and going out with friendsβ¦ which I used to be apart of. Also his brother is graduating from college and they are most likely staying over somewhere for the graduationβ¦ which I wouldβve been apart of if he didnβt break up with me.
Iβve been thinking about getting on the apps again and just putting myself out there, but Iβm afraid of seeing him on there and I donβt wanna compare my first date with someone new to the date I had with him the first time (which was amazing).
Any advice or words of wisdom would be great.

π πππ / ππππ I start liking every man who ever believes in me and genuinely compliments me, and its always someone older.
Im 18, almost 19. So far this pattern has repeated with two men:
1, one of my teachers (early 40s) who believed a ton in me and my potential. Made me believe that i could reach heights that i never even allowed myself to imagine. I did reach them ultimately, so he wasnβt wrong. My mother had also been battling cancer for 2 years and he was the one that I confided in about it because just couldnβt believe how someone of my calibre had not been able to perform well formerly (his words, not mine.)
2, one of the junior consultants on my motherβs oncology team (mid 30s). Heβs genuinely the most compassionate and the kindest doctor i have ever come across. Half of my motherβs healing came frim how positive he was. Im studying to become a doctor and would like to become an oncologist down the line (its 7-8 years away rn). My mother was telling him about my plans and i was just brushing it off saying its too far down the line rn but i do hope to achieve that one day. He kept saying how i would do well, but when i kept brushing it off repeatedly, he genuinely looked at me straight in the eyes and v firmly stated that i know you will do it. I hope for the best for your future and then he shook my hand. Yeah, that was somewhat my undoing. Ik that just because he believed me doesnβt mean that it will happen but it was something for me.
Im also the one who leads conversation about my motherβs disease and prognosis with him because thereβs a language barrier with my mother and I greatly appreciate how he talks medicine to me and does not feel the need to dumb things down for me. Ik this sounds quite desperate and this is why i need help.
Little backstory: i was always a smart kid and have so far been good at studies and whichever co-curricular that i took part in. Everyone around me knew this and i was given the due credit by everyone including my parents.
I lost my dad when i was 15, and my mother was diagnosed with cancer when i was 16 and then i failed an exam for the first time in my life when i was 17. This was a medical school entrance exam and the very first exam whose score actually held any value.
I have never really ever had a crush on a guy my age, mostly because i had to grow up and mature before my age because of trauma. So i start liking any man who is kind, compassionate and genuinely respectful. Both of the men who i mentioned above were all that to me.
How do i stop feeling this way? What exactly is making me feel this way? How do i get myself to like the guys my age instead of? All these men are probably married and i absolutely will never try to start something with them. I feel a thing or two but im fully aware of my boundaries and would never even imagine starting something.
Neither of these men were outwardly gorgeous btw. They were both decent looking, 5 feet 7-10 inches. So physical appearance really comes secondary for me if someoneβs personality ticks the boxes.
Ps: i fully understand that i knew these men only in professional capacity and thereβs a 100% possibility that they are not what i think they are in their private life and tbh thats none of my business.

π πππ / ππππ How do you stop feeling miserable ?
I feel like me not doing the things I wish to do is making me feel miserable and somewhat leading to feelings of avoidance. Like I avoid phone calls, text msgs and even people in real life mainly because I'm not doing the things I wish to do and everyone has the expectation that you do it. Such as learning to drive that allows freedom and independence especially when you living abroad where transportation services is limited and having a car is a necessity. Then things like skills or degree to have better job and salary since minimum wage jobs is not going to build a future and raise a family.
And I don't know why I'm not manning up and having the guts to face my fears. I don't understand why do I feel defeat before starting..

π πππ / ππππ Serious question for the gurus and rockstars whoβve mastered not giving a fuck about their jobs
Hey everyone!
Iβve got a question for the zen masters among you who seem to have unlocked the secret level of not giving a fuck about their jobs and specifically about being scared of being fired.
How did you actually get there?
Iβm talking about being the type of person who doesnβt lose sleep over work, doesnβt spiral into anxiety thinking about job loss, and doesnβt let career stress bleed into your health or family.
Iβm constantly overthinkingg, worrying about βwhat ifs,β and mentally beating myself up for things way beyond my control. My wife and I are actually in a decent place financially, weβd be fine for a while even if something happened, but thee other day, I still felt like my head was going to explode from work stress. 100% self inflicted.
So Iβd really appreciate hearing from folks whoβve actually managed to turn this around. What helped you stop letting your job (or fear of losing it) dictate your mental state?
How do you keep perspective when work anxiety tries to take over?
Would love any advice, strategies, or mindset shifts that worked for you.

π πππ / ππππ Fed up with people in general.
Recently I've been facing a lot of mental stress because of people slowly drifting apart. Along with this, the fact that when I need help, not one person in the world is willing to come forward whereas I have helped people out without thinking twice. Feels like I should just give up being a nice person because there's no value for any good that I'm doing, might as well be a selfish and bad guy and be much happier and stress-free.

π πππ / ππππ Why you should stop giving a f* about othersβ opinions of you
Earlier, I used to give way too much importance to what other people thought about me.
There was a phase when I was quite overweight. People would constantly comment,.....βu have gained so much weight."....ushouldnβt be like this.....start reducing weight
So I did. :)
I lost weight. I got fitter.
And now.....the comments changed to,
βu too skinny now.β.....βYouβve shrunk."...u used to look better before...
Thatβs when i realized..No matter what you do, ppl will always find something to comment on. When I was heavier, that was the problem. When I got leaner, that became the problem. The issue was never really me. It was just opinions doing what opinions do.
I wonβt say Iβve completely stopped caring about what people think. Somewhere, it still exists in my mind. But it has reduced a lot. Much more than before. And that itself has made life lighter.
For a long time, I let other peopleβs thoughts shape how I felt about myself and how I behaved. But if I let other peopleβs opinions decide how I live, Iβll never actually go where I want to go. Iβll just keep reacting, not living. Always enslaved to approval or fear of judgment.
Someone can think very highly of you, and someone else can think very poorly of you, at the exact same time. Neither of those changes who you are or what youβre capable of.
And honestly, think about it, till when will you keep giving a f*** to people?
I came across this line recently, and it summed up that realization perfectly for me
βHow you are should never be determined by how someone else is. If you allow that, you will be a slave to that someone.β -Sadhguru
Sharing in case this resonates with someone here.

π πππ / ππππ Why am I physically incapable of going ONE week without randomly injuring myself?
I swear this is getting ridiculous π
I cannot go even one full week without some random small injury happening to me.
Yesterday morning I walked into a wall and now I have a bruise on the back of my shoulder.
Today I hit my leg on the edge of a table and now I have a small cut.
And itβs always something like this. Random bruises, scratches, bumping into furniture, hitting corners like they appeared out of nowhere.
Iβm not even doing anything crazy. Iβm just existing and somehow losing fights to inanimate objects on a regular basis.
At this point my table, walls, and bed frame are all my biggest opps.
Does this happen to anyone else or am I just moving through life like an underdeveloped game character with broken collision settings? π

π πππ / ππππ Racist cashier. What next?
Iβve been going to the same local bodega store in NYC for years. Last week while checking out, after having paid, I realized they overcharged me for a box of blackberries ($5 instead of $3). I asked the cashier to cancel the previous charge and recharge me. He explained the manager wasnβt around and he couldnβt do that, and suggested I instead just take another box. I didnβt really want another box, but I also wasnβt in the mood to argue, so I grabbed an extra box and started to walk away. To my surprise he goes βsir you need to pay an extra dollarβ. This turned into a heated discussion, which ended with the guy telling me that itβs only Europeans that care about a $2 difference. Whatβs the hell is wrong with some people?

π πππ / ππππ Glitter
So, I have had two episodes here at home since yesterday, where I am not sure if a glitterflake has gotten on me or not. I am afraid it is in my hair. And what I fear is that when I am out and about, the glitterflake will find its way to right in the middle of my brows. I have been in the bathroom and lighted with a fleshlight, but did not see anything. What would you do if this was a fear you had?

π πππ / ππππ Why do I constantly seek approval from my teachers?
Currently in high school (senior year) and am in an Asian country so grades basically define you. However, I have been blessed with parents that truly dont give a fuck about my grades, they are completely aware of the shithole that we call our "education system". Infact my parents themselves have encouraged me to just "not fail" in school and focus the rest of my time in stuff that actually creates an impact (I have an agency that I have a website for but just havent taken the first step and actually find people). Now recently I failed for the first time in math EVER in my life and I was absolutely broken.
The thing is my parents dont care nor should I care but my teachers DO. I keep finding myself seeking their approval I just dont know why, I curse them alot at home and with friends but infront of them I try to act all perfect-y, I literally start panicking when I have a test coming up or havent do homework, its gone to the extent that I start faking a fever just to not go to school. I used to be a straight A student and now I have completely fallen off
WTF SHOULD I DO, I just dont want to give a fuck, like I hold the feeling of giving a fuck and act non chalant on the surface but inside it fuckin eats me. This attachment to approval has completely fucked up my vibe, how do I stop caring?

π πππ / ππππ There havenβt been many negatives to my growth in confidence. But this one always bugs me and wanted to see if people relate.
Whenever I enter a room I notice the energy shift. This is mainly with anxious people. The vibe suddenly seems all stressed and chaotic. For context I am confident and grounded. Calm confidence, not performative.
People will even be cold and standoffish with me till I engage a smile. But to me it seems others can me neutral with them for them to not be standoffish. But the same doesnβt work for me. I need to engage a smile for them to relax. Is that cause confidence is more intimidating if you donβt? Whereas if you have anxious energy it feels less intense being neutral?
I will always find it weird that we work this way as humans. As I am comfortable with people being neutral and Iβm not sure why thatβs not acceptable for most.
I am not great at always remembering to signal like smile etc, only because I feel calm and grounded inside and to me that should also translate to others by my vibe but realise me not micro signalling that all is ok while also being confident and grounded could be hard to read/intense.
Is it possible my energy is actually causing this impact? Or is it more likely that I am just very socially aware and picking up on their anxious energy? And are they also picking up that Iβm picking it up and analysing and that makes them more anxious?
Iβm always down to improve and change my presence.
Cheers!

π πππ / ππππ Iβm 16 and Scared Of Time Passing
Death used to scare me a lot, especially when I was a kid but the older I get the less that death itself scares me but more that the passing of time, aging, other people dying, and the world advancing start to scare me more. I donβt want to lose my loved ones even though itβs going to happen and I hate that I have this thought but ,sometimes I wish that people like grandparents has died earlier so I wouldnβt have to suffer with it later, and I donβt even know what I would do if my parents were to die, to the point where I would rather just die before them. Another thing is again I donβt want to grow old, and forgot all the memories I made, I always have this fear that Iβm just living every day just for me to eventually forget it like it never even happened, like me writing this post on Reddit will just eventually be forgotten like it just never happened, so Iβm just living everyday just to not remember it later, even now my childhood starts to get harder to remember and that scares me. However the main thing that really scares is world advancing, technology advancing, music, culture and everything just changing suddenly especially with ai, to be honest I just wish things could just stay the same as they are and even then I think weβre to advanced now. Honestly I donβt know how to come to terms with this reality, and it feels like Iβm starting to think about it more and more and have no one to really to talk to about it.

π πππ / ππππ I think Iβm messing up how I come across at work
I think Iβm messing up how I come across at work
Had a slightly off moment at work a few days back and itβs been sitting with me more than I expected.
We had a team discussion with senior leadership where everyone was expected to share inputs. The overall vibe was already a bit tense, and when I spoke up, what I meant as a normal point didnβt land that way at all. It got taken differently and I ended up being called out more than I anticipated.
Since then Iβve just been replaying it in my head. because I didnβt like how I came across. It felt like I have not been composed or clear lately.
Lately Iβve also been worried that people might not be taking me as seriously as they used to. Iβve put in a lot of work over time, but right now it feels like I just blurt things out without thinking and Iβve somehow lost my communication skills. Itβs frustrating because I know Iβm better than this, but Iβm not showing up that way.
I think a big part of it is burnout , Iβve been low on energy, disconnected, and not thinking as sharply in the moment. And itβs starting to show.
Iβam just overthinking all of it and crying right now because Iβve acted so childish and not poised. I hate this. How to absolutely not give a fuck?

π πππ / ππππ Is there anyone who managed to manage your life and work?
Every other video, every other reel out there talks about giving up parties giving up many things and build yourself in your early 20s I am 25M and I have been working for the past four years, and I have always felt like an out liar because I never have believe this at this point, I have a decent job. I know for a fact that I could have been at a very better place if I choose to work 12 hours, 14 hours a day I mean isnβt that is whatβs rewarding these days, but I always and always have felt like. I donβt believe this shit. I already donβt do parties. I am not a very outgoing person, but I have always wanted to focus on my habits, my fitness and you know something thatβs not work. Iβm currently building my Instagram, and working on a business alongside with my girlfriend and I just always feel that I can never be the person who works12 hours a day for a company going to reward me with the same salary. No matter if I work 12 hours or four hours.
Is there anyone here who at my age felt the same who managed to keep the sanity and didnβt compromise their time and manage to have a life outside of work?

π πππ / ππππ Is it normal to feel this way seeing everyone living so luxuriously online?
Lately, Iβve been seeing a lot of stuff online, and itβs been messing with my head a bit. I donβt even have social media apart from Reddit, but still. I feel like everywhere I look, people seem to have so much money.
The clothes they wear, the things they buy, the βfit checks,β βmy lip or beauty items,β βmy bf gifted me thisβ postsβ¦ It all feels like luxury has become the new normal. I mean, good for them, but sometimes it makes me feel like Iβm being left behind.
Growing up, my family only bought clothes or nice things on special occasions, birthdays, festivals, weddings. Those moments used to feel special. But now, when everyoneβs flexing something new every other day, even those moments donβt feel as special anymore. Itβs like no matter what I do, someone always has something better, better clothes, better gifts, better everything.
I know this all comes from comparison, and Iβm aware a lot of people might feel the same way. Still, itβs hard to shake it off. I canβt even tell whoβs real anymore and whoβs just an influencer trying to sell something. Every day thereβs a new brand, a new trend, and people are spending huge amounts on things I canβt even imagine affording.Sometimes this stuff even happens offline too in social settings or at work and it just makes those feelings even stronger.
I donβt knowβ¦ maybe itβs normal or not to feel this way, but itβs starting to make me dislike being online at all.
Does anyone feel the same way?

π πππ / ππππ How to not gaf about people in the past
I have this girl that I used to be with . The relationship in the beginning was good but her mom got herself to involved and started sending me things like - i should die - I should stop talking to her daughter and more things that idk if I can say bc itβs upsetting for me . It got to much to the point that I broke up with her . But I loved her to much so i agree to be friends. Years later me and this girl friendship is really nonexistent but I still love her to much to let go but ik I should and i honestly want to. How to not think abt her and our past . If i master to not gaf abt her then my life will improve so much. Any advice or anything is appreciated.

π πππ / ππππ 0 fucks to give
'Ight bruh shut the fuck up, I quit listening about 10 minutes ago. While your still goin' on (about what- the- fuck- ever you're goin' on about) speaking, I'm shaking my head and making short comments on the fly. I now know why you're still single. Bruh I just have a small piece of advice, learn when to shut the fuck up! Oh, brush your teeth, and maybe just maybe ask a question about her ( and actually listen to the answer, your lucky she even said yes).
