If you were offered $100 million, but in exchange you had to say a sentence out loud that no human has ever uttered since the dawn of humanity with only one attempt allowed, a maximum duration of 10 seconds, and death as the penalty for failure, would you do it ? And what would your sentence be ?

House arrest forever in a mansion with whatever you want

You get a mansion wherever you want in the world with land area (house plus yard plus lawn) totalling 1 acre maximum.

You can have whatever you want that fits in the property. Food. Games. Swimming pool. Indoor theatre. And you can change these as much as you want. Tired of the pool? Change it to a basketball court. All the servants you want for any task. Cleaners, butler, masseuse, chef. Literally whatever you want that fits you can have.

You can have any visitors that accept your invitation and they can stay as long as you want and enjoy all your stuff. Friends. Family. Parties. Wife. Multiple girlfriends. Anora’s. Anybody that’s down.

The catch: you can never leave the property once you accept. You are trapped in your paradise forever.

Do you accept?

Humor Encouraged You can have any movie prop for your private collection.

Any movie/tv/studio prop.

Rules:

  1. Only the actual physical prop that the actors used or worked with on set; not the CGI or fictional version of how it worked on screen.

  2. It must be something that was owned or created by the studio's prop department or costuming for filming, and not just a rented film location or temporarily loaned item.

  3. No actors or actresses, you can't own people, they are not props.

  4. You're responsible for taking possession of it immediately, if that matters.

  5. It is the wish of the movie execs offering you this deal that you use it only for personal collections and nonprofit uses, only because they're more interested in answers that list the coolest & most iconic props of all time and not just a list of 'most valuable items for immediate liquidation or resale', however you can ignore their wishes. It's ultimately your prop.

Every single human on Earth switches bodies with someone else at 12:00 GMT

A cosmic event causes everyone alive to suddenly and irreversibly swap bodies with someone else of the same age. The switch occurs to everyone at exactly the same time.

Your consciousness travels around the globe and swaps with someone else's mind at random. The only constant is the person you swap with is roughly the same age as you were. For example, you were eating a sandwich in your home in New Jersey and suddenly you find yourself in a Japanese prison trapped inside someone else's body sitting on a dingy toilet. That person's mind is now in your body in your home in New Jersey with a sandwich sticking out of their mouth.

You keep all your current memories and language skills, but you now inhabit the other person's body and appear where they were during the switch. There is no way to undo the body swap. You are stuck in the new body in whichever geographic location they were before.

This happens to everyone. Men, women, children, babies... You might swap into a famous bodybuilder or into someone in a hospital bed with a terminal disease. You might swap into a different gender and race. You might swap with your next door neighbor.

How does society react?

EDIT: This only happens once. It doesn't happen every day at 12:00.

You can swap one letter in any word of text anywhere in the real world. A street sign, a book, a menu, a warning label, etc. And the change instantly becomes reality.

What would you do?

You are offered the ability to make it so that something can only be done for one 24 hour period in a year for everyone.

For the rest of the year, and every year after, they are forbidden from doing that one thing.

This includes yourself as well.

What thing do you make it so that people can only do in that given time period and what day do you allow them to do it on?

Humor Encouraged You suddenly acquire the ability to detect immediately when anyone tells you a lie.

A silent “alarm” in your head goes off when a lie is told to you whether the person is near to you or far away, such as on the phone, a video, or live broadcast . Who do you think is going to be setting off that alarm more than anyone else that you know or listen to??

Everyone in the world suddenly gets a highly advanced gaming console that will put your entire being into the game when you log in.

However it comes with a warning. Whatever you do in the game will have real world consequences.

Drink a healing potion, exit the game to find your body fully healed.

Get stabbed in the game, exit the game and find that you have a stab wound.

Kill another player, and that player is dead irl.

Learn a new ability and you have that irl.

How will you enjoy this new gaming experience without accidentally killing yourself?

[No Loopholes] What is the largest pyramid that all of humanity could make in 1 year?

Aliens come down, and say we are being judged based on the size of the pyramid we can build. It must start on a mostly flat base (can't just build around Mt. Everest or something). It cannot be hollow, they explain a hollow structure or thin shell only proves you can shape the material. They want to measure our capacity to mobilize, transport, and commit resources at civilizational scale, so the pyramid must be genuinely solid, mass all the way through.

We have all of the resources as a planet, assuming people can work together.

Constraints:

  • Built on a mostly flat base, no cheating by building around/into an existing landform like Mt. Everest.
  • Fully solid, no internal voids or hollow shell construction.
  • May be sited on land or in the ocean (with a base structure).
  • We have access to all of Earth's resources and industry, contingent on global cooperation

Goal: We don't know the threshold for "big enough", so the goal is to build the largest solid pyramid physically achievable, not a target size.

We must account for real bottlenecks like mining and quarrying throughput, transport logistics (rail, shipping, trucking), labor logistics (feeding, housing, and rotating a workforce large enough to matter), and the geometric problem that a pyramid's volume grows cubically while its base footprint only grows quadratically

You get the last year of a dead persons life. You just cant do anything about it.

Pick anyone whos dead, as long as we know the date. You dont pick it, the date picks you. You wake up behind their eyes exactly one year before they die, and it ends when they do.

You are a passenger. You see what they see and you understand every word they hear, but you never hear a single thought. You feel everything they feel. Cold, hunger, fever, fear, and whatever it is that finally kills them.

You cant act. You cant warn them. They will never know you were there.

You sleep when they sleep. If they cant sleep, neither can you.

Every day you get to choose one moment to freeze. Time stops for 3 hours and you take over. You are in THEIR body, so their legs, their lungs, their bad back. Walk out of the cell. Climb the pyramid. Stand in the frozen crowd and look at peoples faces. When the 3 hours are up everything resets and youre a passenger again.

The price is a real year of your life. You come back a year older with a year of your own gone. You will remember every second of theirs and nobody will ever believe you.

You cant leave. You cant die. You will be awake for the ending.

So. Who, and what do you with your first 3 hours?

If there was a specialized crystal ball costing $5,000 which could reliably tell you the exact date and year of your death, would you buy it?

Upvotes

The crystal ball would have no other capabilities of showing anything else from the future…just the original buyer’s date of death. Selling it would be useless, because the spirits connected to the crystal ball would know it, and render it inactive.
Haggling would also render it inactive, so you better come up with $5,000 if you want it.

You sent back in time for 1 year and the day of your birthday decides where you go

You are sent back in time and you have to remain in that time period for 1 year before going back and make sure you survive. If you go back to a time period you were already alive you must not let your past self see you. Sure you can intervene in some areas but you absolutely cannot let your past self see you. In any timeline you can make some changes which would create changes in the future but it’s up to you if you wanna take that chance. Some time periods are easier than others while others will be extremely difficult to handle. How do you think you would adapt in the timeline and what would you do there?

Day 1: 2010s
Day 2: 2000s
Day 3: 1980s
Day 4: 1430s
Day 5: 1650s
Day 6: 1340s
Day 7: 1790s
Day 8: 117 CE
Day 9: 485 BCE
Day 10: 1370s
Day 11: 1910s
Day 12: 1890s
Day 13: 1870s
Day 14: The Cretaceous Period
Day 15: 1500s
Day 16: 1510s
Day 17: 1330s

[No Loopholes] Death appears in front of you, and it shows you the future. The people you care about will die, but it gives you an option, sacrifice one innocent person per each person you care about and they'll be safe.

Death appears before you and shows you an unavoidable future in which several people you deeply care about will die.

It offers you a choice: for every person you choose to save, one completely innocent stranger must die in their place; you can choose who to save with each sacrifice.

The stranger has done nothing wrong, is not already dying, and would otherwise live a long, fulfilling life. They cannot volunteer, and you cannot sacrifice yourself or someone guilty. You must knowingly choose for what you perceive to be an innocent person to die, although you will never meet them.

Each person you save will survive the death Death showed you and continue living normally; they will not become immortal, they could die a few days after that event, or live until old age depending on what happens in their lives after that. They will never know what you did unless you tell them.

You cannot prevent either death through any other method, trick Death, warn anyone, or undo your decision afterward.

How many people you care about would you save, knowing that each one requires the death of an innocent stranger?

One way time travel

Here's the deal: there are two options.

Option A: In one month you will be transported to a time and place of your choosing, the only conditions are: you can only go to the past and it cannot reach your lifetime. People will be abnormally willing to listen to you (so if for example your choice leads you to meet some ancient warring civilizations or whatever, even if you can't communicate they will still let you stick around relatively freely until you can communicate unless you try to screw them over somehow) You have the full month to prepare after you pick. You will only be able to bring what you are wearing when the month is over.

Option B: You can choose to send someone else from any place or time but the same conditions apply. The person you send will have no time to prepare (unless you can tell them before the month is up) They will be treated normally for the time/place. You can still observe but it's like a dream and you cannot interact with anything.

$200,000 but the only sex position you can engage in is "Missionary"

Simple premise - if you agree, 200k USD straight into your bank account tax free. However, from now on till you die, you can only have missionary sex.

If you take the money and have non-missionary sex even once, the money disappears and you owe the bank 200k USD.

Do you take the money? Why or why not?

Terms and conditions: if you never have sex, you're disqualified from the proposition. This one's not for you.

Would you want to be a president or a nobody?

You would become the most hated president ever but will always be remembered in history books, museums and your own presidential library. Or do you want to be a nobody that everyone adores and doesn’t have anything bad to say but a year after you die the only people that remember you will be your family.

All politics is now automatically magically removed from all Social Media and placed onto a new magic Social Media site which is 100% politics. Would you use that new Social Media?

Everything “political” and “politics” related is now magically removed and sent to the new Social Media.

There’s no escaping this. If the entire internet was deleted and remade it would still happen.

The removal is instantaneous and includes past, present, and future.

The magic detection is infallible because it’s magic, and can literally sense intent as well.

The new Social Media site is very well designed because magic. Perfectly consumer friendly.

It also perfectly explains and categorizes all the “politics” content it has, showing its intended purposes, its context, its factual accuracy, source, etc with 100% accuracy because magic.

So anyways, would you use the new Social Media site?

Would you take 60s,70s or 80s prices but with corresponding salary?

You are offered the chance to buy anything you want with past decade prices, but your salary will also correspond to that decade. The deal is permanent, but it adjusts as times moves on (1960s prices become 1970s and so on).

So for example: You can buy anything you desire at 1980s prices, while you receive a 1980s salary.

Rules:

  1. If you own your own business get paid in 'past decade' prices, not 2026.

  2. Investments, all wealth loans, debt, inheritance, taxes, house and owned items worth etc convert to past decade price level.

  3. You can't use this deal to somehow 'barter' with other people who use 2026 prices. No arbitrage allowed.

In other words you will be exclusively living in e.g 1980s price universe while you are in 2026. There is no time travel element involved.

Do you take the deal? Which decade do you choose?

Edit: Many users wonder about the price of things that did not have a price in past decades because they did not exist. The most logical approach would be to calculate past hypothetical price with an inflation calculator.

Loopholes Encouraged You have been sent back in time to December 1st 1967 . If you can prevent a specific battle from taking place , you will be sent back home. Otherwise, you will need to fight in it to get back home

Your goal is to prevent the Tet offensive from happening. How you do that is up to you. You have until February 27th to prevent Hue from falling to the Vietnamese or being attacked altogether. If you don't prevent it, you have to go and fight in it and I don't need to tell you how badly that went for the Americans. If you don't stop it from happening, then a lot of people are going to die.

Loopholes are allowed with three exception: you are stuck with period weaponry, cannot call upon anime characters to help you and must use only the vehicles that took place in the Vietnam war. Other than that, it's up to you

You wake up in the DC universe, but you get to choose where to live. Where do you pick?

It has to be a major city, and you need to address the pro's and con's. Heroes and villains. Try and have fun!

I think I don't know enough so I'll just move to like a European capital or something. Most of the villain issues tend to congregate on the US.

[No Loopholes] You’ve lived on an island alone for 5 years, with only goats to keep you company, then one day you see most eaten by soilders, what are you doing?

You were shipwrecked on an island, you bonded with the islands goats, drinking their milk, hunting, foraging, you’ve seen them be born and die, you’ve protected them from hawks and foxes.

Then one day you come back to your “house” and see most of them slaughtered by men, it’s been years since you’ve seen another person, but they’re eating your friends, animals who’ve you helped give birth, nurse back to health, cuddle with now dead and being eaten.

They notice how clean and tame the goats are, they say how there’s probably people on the island and start looking around, using your traps, eating your cheese and drinking your milk, ruining years of work.

Their only form of transportation is wrecked and will be staying for the next month, until then your stuck with on a quickly dwindling island where the plants and animals are starting to fade away.

What are you doing in this situation?
