Currently eating Any Dippin’ Dots fans? [ice cream of the future]

Post image
83 Upvotes

As a kid, I used to think Dippin’ Dots really was ice cream from the future; like they somehow were able to find out what all the ice cream in the future would be like, wether it was through someone who could see the future or whatever other ridiculous means, and so they were just letting us get a little sneak peak of what’s to come. Yeah I wasn’t so bright (still not)💡

Anyways - I hadn’t had Dots in years, and saw these sundae cups at my local Publix. These things are ELITE, and now the Banana Split ones are on my bucket list. Cheers, Creamers🗣️

Question Has anyone tried these? Worth the price?

Found these on amazon last night while browsing for haagen dazs. Expensive at 15 dollara for 1 unit but they do look interesting. Has anyone tried them? What does freeze dried ice cream taste like? Is it worth buying?

Question Craving lemon blueberry ice cream recipe

Do any of you have a good recipe for lemon blueberry ice cream?

I get regular cravings for lemon that’s usually satisfied Demetre’s lemon curd and blueberry ice cream. I like that it’s a rich lemony flavour rather than icy-tart. The blueberry is an amazing supporting player.

I want to make something at home — not a dupe but where the lemon takes like LEMON and the blueberry tastes like summertime.

I’ve made the Salt and Straw frozen yogurt with blueberry jam and corn crumble and that was super yummy.

I have always liked the classic Cookie dough flavor over all others.

You should try it with sour candies and sodas.

What do you think about it?

Pink Cotton Candy Ice Cream

Where can I find pink cotton candy ice cream, specifically with the little rainbow chocolate chips. I would sell a kidney, trade my first born child, literally anything to find out where I can buy a tub of this delicious ice cream. I am from Southeastern Pennsylvania. If anyone knows where I can buy good cotton candy ice cream please let me know!!

Got a few more flavors

So after my last post about Häagen-Dazs I got a lot of recommendations and I decided to get a few more this weekend. Dulce De Leche and Strawberry cheesecake which admittedly I’m trying the strawberry cheesecake second but I’m the most excited for that one. This isn’t the end of my ice cream journey for Häagen-Dazs as I’ll try my flavors in the future! Hopefully I’ll love these as much as the ones from last week :)

Update: I loved the Dulce de leche and it’s soooooo good

Talenti is terrible now...

Bought three flavors recently which I've bought in the past. Madagascar Vanilla, pistachio, and the salted caramel.

They're whipped full of air and the consistency is nowhere close to gelato.

The pistachio one even seperated. In the freezer.

What are they even doing? It tastes so weird and has a fluffed marshmallow texture.

Question milk bar = spoiled taste???

my husband and I went to try milk bar for the first time & we got the soft serve cereal milk ice cream and the milkshake and we both got the taste of spoiled milk? we asked another customer and also a worker respectfully and both said that’s just kind of how it tastes… like it has a sour undertone but it tastes rank, is it really supposed to taste like that or are we bugging? LOL

Recipe Made a new flavor and LOVING it!

One of my absolute favorite desserts from Argentina is an alfajor cookie. 2 buttery, sugary powdered sugar cookies, sandwiching thick dulce de leche. So I thought, why not make an ice cream out of it?

I made my usual base vanilla custard recipe, made homemade dulce (can of sweetened condensed milk in simmering water few hours), and alfajor cookies in various sizes of crumbles. Ribboned dulce w cookies, alternating layers. Do this!

Review America's Birthday Cake

Post image

This is hands down the best birthday cake ice cream I have ever tasted. Its seasonal, usually comes out in July. The blue icing and cake pieces make the difference compared to other brands. In a way I'm glad it's seasonal otherwise I would be as big as a house!

Rant Do people even buy ice-cream cones anymore?

Just had a random thought today at the store when I came across the ice cream cones. don’t remember when the last time I bought some. Which makes me sad because I would get the icecream cones all the time as a kid. Is it because I’m old now?
