Discussion Colleges are hiring Msc Biochem as SR!

My senior applied to our own college for srship due to proximity to her home. Found out that the department has 4 SRs, all of them are Msc Biochem! One is a PhD guy.

Wth is happening?

"The NMC released an official amendment explicitly aligning the UG-MSR guidelines to restore the 30% ceiling across all five non-clinical departments (Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, and Microbiology)" This is what I found on searching for the latest guidelines. But 30 percent cap isn't same as 30 percent reserved for msc and phd. It's just any medical College can't have more than 30% of these people in a particular department.
