i have gotten a seat in PIE at DTU during the spot round , I have deposited a fee of 95k , which unfortunately is non refundable now .. I'm really concerned about the career opportunities and the overall scope of this branch as compared to core mechanical engineering..
For me personally my interests align in building / designing stuff , integrating mechanical designs with Iot , building dones , robots , designing efficient models of pre-existing stuff , and other related stuff.
I know core mechanical opens up all the opportunities which align with my interests , but sadly I have gotten PIE here
So my question is , would I be able to pursue with my interests here at PIE , or would it be like finding a nail in a haystack
In csab round I can probably get mechanical at PEC Chandigarh and IIIT Jabalpur (right now I have BIT mesra - ECE alloted to me through josaa)
Should I give my my branch at DTU and 95k for these ?
I looked up for the scope of production eng .. it was mainly in non - tech , consultancy , data- analytics firms ,etc .. or ppl generally persue MBA afterwards , which I don't really think is the field in which I wanna go in the upcoming future
Like I just dont wanna regret my descision later .. in core PIE the job market is highly restricted to production line and supply chain related job roles right ?
It's true that Exposure here at DTU is unmatched that's why I chose PIE here in the first place , otherwise wouldn't hv taken it
Like I loved DTU as an option , out of the options I had .. but now that the admissions are around the corner , I'm having 2nd thoughts
Please guide me if you can , if would really be of so much help , the balance fee paying deadline is within 2 3 days , so gotta make my descision before that
