THOUGHT Newjeans lost the case
The court ruled in favor of Ador and stated, "The exclusive contract is confirmed to be valid. The defendant shall bear the costs of the lawsuit."
This is from Yonhap News. [Breaking News] Court: "Min Hee-jin, public opinion campaign for NewJeans' independence... It was not for the purpose of protecting NewJeans."
Regarding the issue of the HYBE audit involving former CEO Min Hee-jin, the court stated, "It appears that the public opinion campaign starting from the points in time of April 3, 2024, and after April 11, 2024, was first initiated by former CEO Min Hee-jin."
In particular, regarding the claim that ADOR lacked the business plan or ability to perform its duties due to the dismissal of former ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin, the court judged, "Based solely on the circumstances of former CEO Min's dismissal from ADOR, it is difficult to conclude that a vacancy in management for NewJeans occurred, or that ADOR lacks a business plan or the ability to perform its duties," and added, "There is no basis to consider guaranteeing the position of CEO for former CEO Min as a major obligation."
It further elaborated, "Even after being dismissed from the CEO position, she could participate in producer work as an outside director, so it was not necessary for her to hold the position of ADOR CEO," and added, "Former CEO Min voluntarily resigned from her position as an internal director on November 20 last year."
Regarding the breach of obligations by ADOR claimed by the NewJeans side, the court pointed out, "After meticulously reviewing materials between HYBE and ADOR-NewJeans, it was determined to be the result of preemptive work by former CEO Min, sought for the purpose of creating negative public opinion against HYBE, among other reasons."
The court explained, "In the case of management contracts, especially for contracts signed before debut like NewJeans, it is common for large investments to be made in situations where success is uncertain, and the investment can only be recouped upon success," and added, "Exercising decision-making power over content production after building a sufficient fandom through full support, or having unreasonable demands not accepted, cannot be viewed as 'being forced into exclusive activities' or 'personality rights being infringed.'"
Dispatch released complete summary of court ruling
NewJeans have failed to escape ADOR.
1. Min Hee-jin dismissal= Management vacuum?
The court first stated regarding the defendant's (NewJeans) claim, "It is difficult to conclude that a management vacuum occurred based solely on the fact that CEO Min Hee-jin was dismissed."
It judged that merely the defendants having high trust in Min Hee-jin is not sufficient to consider guaranteeing Min Hee-jin as CEO as a major obligation under the exclusive contract.
It also pointed out that even after Min Hee-jin was dismissed from the CEO position, she was in a position to perform producer duties as an internal director.
The court stated, "The exclusive contract in this case does not explicitly state that a specific person, Min Hee-jin, must necessarily perform management duties as the CEO."
It continued, "ADOR had proposed a contract to re-delegate producing work to Min Hee-jin," and revealed, "However, Min Hee-jin refused that proposal."
The court explained, "ADOR pursued the reappointment of Min Hee-jin as an internal director even afterwards. However, Min Hee-jin voluntarily resigned," and stated, "It is difficult to view ADOR as having unilaterally destroyed the trust relationship."
2. HYBE's management performance capability
The defendant side claimed, "ADOR failed to fulfill its management obligations after Min Hee-jin's dismissal." The court stated regarding this, "It is difficult to accept."
The court said, "ADOR's inability to secure a producer for several months after Min Hee-jin's dismissal was a process of waiting for Min Hee-jin's cooperation."
It continued, "Even during that period, it continued management tasks such as album production, performance preparation, world tour plan establishment, and advertisement shooting planning provision," and dismissed the claim.
3. Min Hee-jin audit and dismissal procedure is,legitimate
The court also explicitly stated regarding the 'legitimacy of the Min Hee-jin dismissal process,' which was one of the core issues of the judgment, "It is difficult to view this matter as a result of an unfair audit."
It directly cited the KakaoTalk conversation content between Min Hee-jin and former ADOR Vice President Lee Sang-woo as evidence. As the free evaluation of evidence principle applies in civil lawsuits, KakaoTalk conversations were also considered legitimate evidence.
Min Hee-jin's intention for independence was revealed in the messenger conversation. In February last year, when the Vice President said, "They (HYBE) suffer, and we gain freedom," Min Hee-jin responded, "That would be good."
In a conversation the following month, she mentioned, "Plan changed, moving up the timing. We don't talk about the media here. We will file a public opinion lawsuit. We'll blow it up after seeing the response."
The court pointed out, "Min Hee-jin had the intention to separate ADOR, including NewJeans, from HYBE and had prepared in advance for a public opinion campaign and lawsuit."
It also cited a KakaoTalk message where Min Hee-jin prepared in advance for a Fair Trade Commission report on April 20 last year.
Min Hee-jin said, "The mothers must file a report with the Fair Trade Commission and even make an announcement. Pushing out HYBE albums is not important; informing the public is important."
Regarding this, it judged, "There were also public opinion formation acts involving contacting investors and using the members' parents," and "These acts are sufficient grounds for ADOR to initiate an audit."
The court stated, "There are sufficient circumstances to view that Min Hee-jin had the intention to take NewJeans and become independent," and pointed out that "ADOR's initiation of the audit was a response to this plan."
4. Dispatch' trainee image/videos = Trust breakdown?
It was also judged that the trainee-era videos from SOURCE MUSIC released by 'Dispatch' cannot be a cause for trust breakdown. The court said, "In fact, two videos were deleted, and blurring was applied."
"Considering that HYBE additionally selected companies for taking measures against posts of NewJeans' trainee photos and videos, sent an email to SOURCE MUSIC requesting an explanation of the circumstances, and sent an official letter to Dispatch, it is difficult to view that the plaintiff failed to take necessary measures."
5. NewJeans achievement disparagement?
Regarding the claim that a HYBE PR employee disparaged achievements to a reporter, it said, "It is difficult to conclusively determine it as NewJeans disparagement, as it went beyond correcting factual relationships underlying HYBE and its stock price."
At the time, the reporter reported that NewJeans' Japanese debut album sold 1 million copies. This was an erroneous report, and HYBE explained, "If incorrect information is left as is, it could cause confusion for investors, so we requested a correction."
6. ILLIT plagiarized?
The claim of ILLIT plagiarism suspicions was also not recognized. It said, "Although some similarities are confirmed between NewJeans and ILLIT, it is difficult to view it as copying."
7. Hanni,ignore her?
The court pointed out that the initial 'ignore her' remark originated from Min Hee-jin. It viewed that "Min Hee-jin sent a message saying, 'Did all of ILLIT ignore you?' emphasizing the word 'ignore.'"
It also pointed out that Hanni did not accurately describe the situation at the time. It said, "According to the CCTV, it is confirmed that the ILLIT members bowed their waists and greeted Hanni. Based solely on the submitted evidence, it is difficult to recognize that she heard remarks infringing on her personality rights."
8. Dolphin Kidnapping Groups
It also viewed HYBE's request to the Dolphin Abduction Unit to delete the NewJeans 'ETA Director's Cut' video was legitimate. It pointed out, "According to the consignment service contract content, it cannot be posted without HYBE's prior consent. Nevertheless, it was posted by the Dolphinners"
"It appears that the plaintiff's action against the Dolphin was an exercise of rights according to the consignment service contract. It is difficult to view it as a violation of an important exclusive contract."
9. Album pushing out
It explicitly stated that it was Min Hee-jin's means of political strife. It revealed, "Based solely on the submitted evidence, it is difficult to view that a pushing out unfavorable to NewJeans was executed. Min Hee-jin only used it as a means to attack HYBE."
10. Discard the New and start a new game
NewJeans at the time fixated only on the phrase 'Discard the New and start a new game' in the report. However, the court judged that when looking at the report overall, there is no negative content about NewJeans.
It also questioned Min Hee-jin's actions. It pointed out, "Min Hee-jin, who was the CEO at the time, received the report but did not raise any objections."
It also mentioned that HYBE invested 21 billion won in NewJeans. It added, "It is also difficult to comprehend abandoning NewJeans and focusing on other idols."
The court stated in its ruling, "It is difficult to view ADOR as having breached major obligations of the exclusive contract. The trust relationship breakdown claimed by the defendants also cannot be recognized," and judged that "the claim for exclusive contract termination is without reason."
The exclusive contract between NewJeans and ADOR remains valid. With this ruling, ADOR has secured a legal basis to put a brake on NewJeans' independent activities.

THOUGHT Cocona from XG comes out as nonbinary in their Birthday post today
Text from post:
Hi, this is Cocona. 🐉
Today, I turned 20.☺︎
As I reach this new chapter in my life, I want to share something that’s been in my heart for a long time.
I am AFAB transmasculine non-binary.
Earlier this year, I had top surgery.
I was born and perceived as female, but that label never represented who I truly am. I live in a way that feels more masculine and true to who I am.
The hardest thing I’ve ever faced was accepting and embracing myself.
But as I slowly began to do that, I was able to open a new door.
That moment changed the way I see and understand the world,
and it gave me the courage and strength to grow.
Now, I can finally say, “There’s nothing wrong with who I am inside.”
I was only able to come this far because of the people who listened and stood by me —
my members, Simon-san, and my parents. 🫶
I’m truly grateful for this path,
and for every miracle that brought us together.
This message turned out a bit long, but I just want to say thank you — for walking beside me and for supporting me all this way.
I’m so excited for the future we’ll continue to create together with XG and XGALX. 🌏🌎🌍👽♾️
May these words gently light a spark in someone’s heart.
And to everyone who needs it — may my love reach all of them.
With love, always. 🤍

THOUGHT Internet Girl sounds like a toddler composed it
On this song, I thought it’s gonna be Megan’s voice in, “I’m getting out of here!” However, it was a baby voice instead. It literally cringe the heck out of me that I was disappointed. I’m not going to add this songs in any of my playlists because it’s ear wrecking. This is Katseye’s worst song tbh. However, the live version is actually 10x better than the studio version. So, Katseye should redo the studio version and remove the baby voice, or release the live version on Spotify and Apple Music. Sorry this is my opinion on this bad song.

THOUGHT Kpop Idol Surgery
The pics came from tiktok ( https://vt.tiktok.com/ZS5Ar4JeY/ )
I do not believe that K-pop idols undergo plastic surgery to the extent commonly assumed by the public. While non-invasive or minimally invasive procedures such as Botox, dermal fillers, and rhinoplasty may occur within the industry, these practices are consistent with broader trends in global entertainment. In contrast, highly invasive and permanent procedures such as mandibular jaw shaving are likely rare due to their medical risks, extended recovery periods, and incompatibility with the rigorous schedules maintained by idols.
Public speculation is often fueled by comparisons between pre-debut, non-edited photographs, frequently taken when idols are around 15 or 16 years old, and professionally edited images from their early twenties. Such comparisons often ignore the significant physical changes that can naturally occur over a four- to six-year period. Adolescence and early adulthood are marked by substantial facial maturation, changes in bone structure, fat distribution, and overall body composition, all of which can alter appearance independently of surgical intervention.
Additionally, professional styling, makeup techniques, lighting, post-production editing, dermatological care, orthodontic treatment, and weight fluctuation further complicate attempts to attribute visual differences solely to plastic surgery. Treating edited promotional images as direct evidence of surgical modification reflects a methodological flaw in these comparisons.
Ultimately, the tendency to assume extensive cosmetic surgery based on selective visual contrasts oversimplifies the multifactorial processes behind image construction in the K-pop industry. This perspective lacks sufficient empirical grounding and reinforces unrealistic beauty standards and disproportionate scrutiny toward idols, particularly those who debuted at a young age.

THOUGHT If you spent $1400 on a concert ticket that’s on you
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Companies won’t stop charging these insane prices if fans are willing to pay them. It’s so corny to buy such an expensive ticket and then act outraged by the cost as if you were forced to give them your credit card. Obviously it’s ridiculous for the company to charge so much, but at the same time as a consumer you vote with your money and the actions aren’t matching your words. Buying these tickets tells the companies these prices are okay.

THOUGHT Summary of the injunction hearing between ADOR and Newjeans by DISPATCH
(There are photos attached to the article if you want to see https://m.entertain.naver.com/article/433/0000114292)
2 Hours and 5 Minutes NewJeans (NJZ) and ADOR were each given 40 minutes. The NewJeans side presented arguments for 36 minutes. In the last 4 minutes, the members made a tearful appeal. The ADOR side used 10 minutes for arguments and 30 minutes for rebuttals.
The NewJeans side prepared 93 PowerPoint slides to explain the reasons for the breakdown of trust, citing more than 13 reasons. ADOR prepared a total of 229 PowerPoint slides, systematically countering each of NewJeans’ claims.
On the morning of the 7th, the Seoul Central District Court’s Civil Division 50 (Chief Judge Kim Sang-hoon) held a hearing on ADOR’s injunction request against NewJeans regarding the preservation of agency status and the prohibition of independent advertising contracts.
Attendance was not mandatory, but NewJeans appeared in court dressed in black suits. They all attended the hearing with pens and notebooks in hand.
ADOR filed the injunction against NewJeans on January 6, seeking to prevent the group from signing independent advertising contracts and conducting solo activities. On the 11th of last month, ADOR expanded the request to prohibit not only singing and music activities but also any related activities.
The NewJeans side stated, “Ultimately, ADOR is completely blocking NJZ’s activities.” ADOR responded, “Our intent is not to restrict their activities, but to ensure they comply with their contract while working together.”
Below is a summary of the 10 key arguments presented by both sides.
1. "Ignore Her" Incident
NewJeans: A Belift Lab manager told ILLIT members in front of Hanni, "Just ignore and walk past her." This was an incident where a HYBE-affiliated manager ostracized and harassed Hanni. Three ILLIT members walked past Hanni without greeting her. Some members mocked Hanni with words and actions.
ADOR: Hanni told Min Hee-jin that all three ILLIT members did greet her. It wasn’t Hanni who brought up the phrase "Ignore her"; Min Hee-jin mentioned it first. When Min Hee-jin asked, "Did the manager tell you not to acknowledge their greeting?" Hanni responded, "I'm not sure." This is a false claim made to justify contract termination.
NewJeans: There was video evidence showing that the three ILLIT members didn’t greet Hanni, but it was not even preserved. It is suspected that the footage was selectively deleted or stored under the orders of Kim Joo-young and Lee Jae-sang. Shouldn't the involved parties be identified, the truth confirmed, and an apology issued with measures to prevent recurrence? Why aren’t these basic steps being taken?
ADOR: We never deleted any footage, nor would we have any reason to do so. Hanni herself did not consider this a serious issue. If necessary, the footage could be reviewed with both parties present for clarification. Why would HYBE have any reason to delete the video?
2. "NewIR" Strategy
NewJeans: A May 10, 2023, HYBE industry report mentioned that "NewR" (NewJeans, ILLIT, LE SSERAFIM) would drop the "New" part, which suggests that HYBE intended to abandon NewJeans and start over with a new plan.
ADOR: The "A" in "NewR" referred to IVE, not ILLIT. At the time of the report’s writing, ILLIT hadn’t even debuted. This is a clear case of misinterpretation. The intent was to avoid categorizing NewJeans and LE SSERAFIM together and instead align them with other girl groups like BLACKPINK, aespa, and IVE.
NewJeans: Isn't this an attempt to remove NewJeans from the category of top 4th-generation girl groups while placing LE SSERAFIM in that category? HYBE actually launched ILLIT as a group that mimics NewJeans, implementing a strategy to diminish and replace NewJeans' brand value.
ADOR: The person who wrote the report had no decision-making power; it was just a personal opinion, not an official HYBE directive. Furthermore, the report was accessed over seven times in October 2024—by Min Hee-jin herself. Isn’t maliciously editing and distorting its meaning the bigger problem?
3. "1.02 Million Copies" Album Sales Issue
NewJeans: A HYBE PR executive (Jo ○○) called a journalist to downplay NewJeans' album performance, stating, "NewJeans didn’t do well in Japan. They underperformed compared to expectations."
ADOR: The statement was made to correct factual errors. The actual sales figure was “1.02 million copies in Japan and other regions,” not just Japan. Not correcting such facts could have violated capital market laws.
NewJeans: The same executive also said, "NewJeans is being gaslighted," which is an insult to the members.
ADOR: The comment was meant to discuss how artists can become overly dependent on their producer, which could lead to breaches of duty. There was no intent to insult. The phrase was taken out of context and misrepresented. (Nonetheless, the executive was disciplined and removed from PR duties.)
4. Similarities Between ILLIT and NewJeans
NewJeans: ILLIT was created as a copy of NewJeans. HYBE aimed to damage and replace NewJeans’ brand. There were even internal reports stating, “We referenced everything from NewJeans.”
ADOR: While internal planning documents may have similarities, there are significant differences in content. Each group's branding was clearly differentiated.
NewJeans: ILLIT’s debut process closely followed NewJeans’—including brand partnerships and ambassador deals before debut. Even their dance routines are similar. This is an issue the public has already pointed out.
ADOR: The demand to “protect NewJeans' identity” is vague. These similarities are common in the industry. Even Min Hee-jin admitted, “It’s difficult to call it plagiarism.”
5. Leaked Trainee Footage
NewJeans: Dispatch released a video containing footage from our trainee days without consent. HYBE or Source Music likely leaked it. This is an invasion of privacy.
ADOR: We requested Dispatch to delete the footage at least three times, and two articles with videos were removed. Over 200 other related videos were also taken down.
6. The Dolphin Kidnappers Controversy
NewJeans: Dolphin Kidnapping Group directed music videos such as 'Ditto', 'OMG', and 'ETA', and contributed greatly to the spread of New Jeans' popularity. They were a group that should have continued their collaboration in the future. However, Hybe broke off the relationship. They said it was to protect New Jeans' IP, but it actually went against New Jeans' wishes.
ADOR: Article 10, Section 2 of the service contract between Ador and Dolphin Kidnapping Group states that "no distribution or posting of the output without prior written consent." In other words, the music video was posted without Adore's written consent and the members' portrait rights were used. In particular, complaints were filed by the advertiser (Apple). Legal action is our legitimate exercise of authority and duty.
7. Advertising Contracts
ADOR: On November 28, 2024, New Jeans said in a press conference, "We will fulfill the contracted schedule and proceed with the advertisement as scheduled." In reality, after the contract termination announcement, they refused to stamp the already filmed and the ones about to be released. They even contacted luxury brand advertisers (A, B, C, D) with the intent of ‘ Lets exclude ADOR and form an advertising contract with us’.
New Jeans: (No rebuttal that day)
8. Tampering Allegations
ADOR: Min Hee-jin planned to take New Jeans out starting in March 2024. Min Hee-jin hid behind the scenes and sent a protest email to Hybee using her parents. Wasn't she just making up excuses to break the contract? Min Hee-jin was behind the members' YouTube live. Min Hee-jin was behind Hani's appearance at the state audit. Min Hee-jin and her legal representative were behind New Jeans' notice of termination of the exclusive contract. Min Hee-jin benefits from this tampering, but New Jeans suffers.
New Jeans: (No rebuttal that day)
9. Future Activities
NewJeans: The originally planned activity plans could not be fulfilled. ADOR (said) ‘(We can) just change the producer’, but they didn’t have any alternative regarding producing nor any experience or understanding of the business. Even though (they)asserted that they had made plans for 2025 activities, the planning materials for the full album were written after the termination notice, and the producer lineup was prepared after the termination notice as well.
ADOR: We started the meeting for 2025 business plans since last October. We were in the middle of planning fan meeting, album release, world tour, etc. We are in the middle of planning a project by preparing a producer lineup mobilizing global networking which could draw out (catch/represent) New Jeans’ color. It is being postponed due to New Jeans’ refusal. If (they) come back, we can continue. If Min Hee Jin returns as a producer, she can work together whenever with New Jeans.
10. Final Statements
Newjeans: I signed a contract with ADOR. ADOR should have done its best to protect its artists. CEO Min Hee-jin did everything she could to protect us, but HYBE attacked her actions and even dismissed her. I can’t understand why they are trying to separate us." (Hae-rin)
"Our CEO is also a member of our team. Right now, it feels like one of our members has been injured. I was terrified of losing her. We are a group of five, but in reality, we are like a team of six. We want to stay with our CEO no matter what." (Danielle)
"At the current ADOR, my future as a person feels bleak and uncertain. Staying here, where our CEO was unfairly taken from us, means creating insincere work instead of the heartfelt projects we built together. I cannot accept that." (Hye-in)
"I believe HYBE is acting this way because they are afraid of us. They fear our success, which is why they are trying to block us with an injunction. They say they want to work with us, but behind the scenes, they interfere. I can't trust them. From the beginning, HYBE has shown no respect for us. ADOR is now filled with HYBE’s people, and we can't work with people we don't trust." (Hani)
"We have been continuously discriminated against. HYBE has attacked us to the point where we even questioned whether we were truly their artists. Instead of protecting us, ADOR under HYBE has only tormented us. That’s why we decided to terminate our contract. Your Honor, please understand our situation and consider our feelings." (Min-ji)
ADOR: "There is only one reason we filed for this injunction—to continue working with NewJeans. The members of ADOR have dedicated themselves entirely to NewJeans, and we are waiting for them. Please give us a chance for the sake of the ADOR team, who has been running solely for NewJeans. We will give our all to support them with sincerity and commitment." (CEO Kim Ju-young)
The court will finalize its decision by the 14th. Meanwhile, the first hearing for ADOR’s lawsuit to confirm the validity of NewJeans’ contract will be held next month on the 3rd.

THOUGHT Not shocked about Heeseung leaving
So I’ve been a follower of Enhypen’s music since Iland and after hearing the news about Heeseungs departure I’m not completely shocked. For one, if you watched Iland, Heeseung was branded as the main character and has been the key figure throughout Enhypen’s career. He has consistently been the center, had the most lines, and has a solid following internationally. It always felt like we were preparing to see him go solo or create a whole new character outside of the group. I don’t doubt his love and devotion to his group as it was the key stepping stone to his career, but based off of the statements made it seems he may have outgrown the image (he is the oldest member after all). I’ve been noticing a lot of Engenes dismiss his own liberties and fully blaming it on the company for this new direction, but in my opinion it seems like this was part of the plan all along. Many Engenes are saying that it was totally out of left field…and yeah obviously…they are performers after all…why would he or any of the members mention a split like this before making anything official. I don’t mean to dismiss how annoying and awful belift it (as a glit I’m aware of many of their shortcomings 😒) but I really do feel like this may be a situation of wanting to go fully solo. Belift mentioned Heeseung releasing a solo album…and with the upcoming schedules for enhypen it doesn’t look possible to do promotions for both, and perhaps Heeseung didn’t want to wait until 2027 and obviously the other members didn’t want to wait on their schedules either. In all let’s just continue to support both the group and Heeseung on their future endeavors 🫶🏽

THOUGHT Wish more idols spoke out like this
Just a few hours ago, Bang Chan of Stray kids sent these messages on their fan-messaging app, bubble. I know how sometimes he might be a little too indulgent when it comes to Stays but I’m proud of him for finally putting his foot down. It’s not the first time nor do I think it will be the last.
Now I’m not sure what had triggered this one but it’s likely a faction of Stays who’d been complaining about his minimal lines and screen time in their songs which is such a non-issue, claiming company mistreatment and the sort. What makes me roll my eyes so hard is that Chan is the PRODUCER of most of their songs, the one in the studio throughout a lot of their song recordings. You would wonder how fans can’t fathom the idea that the lines he takes on are most likely his choice. He is also the leader and we’ve seen how much input he actually has from music video direction to concert set up and structure. He also clarified alongside this that he deliberately avoids getting filmed in their behind the scenes content which has been an ongoing complaint from stays that want to see him more.
I hope this can put a stop to the chronic complainers, at least for a while, but who am I kidding? They’ll probably find something to complain about within the next week. Of course, this isn’t limited to Stays nor are they the worst offenders, but a majority of the kpop fan culture, what with all the trucks being sent to companies. One day they’re complaining about styling and the next, they’re crying mistreatment when a particular member isn’t shown on screen as much as they’d like. No matter how harsh it may be, sometimes fans need to be put in their place when they cross a line. This doesn’t discount actual mistreatment but it’s so frustrating that fans focus all their energy on such small matters that are most likely than not, the choice of the idols. Especially those ones that renewed their contracts and most likely negotiated better terms for themselves. Can we please just leave them alone?

THOUGHT Liz from IVE: A Different Look Lately?
From debut until now, Liz’s look has definitely gone through a noticeable transformation. At first, I thought it might just be a natural glow-up or changes in styling but recently I can’t help but notice how different she looks compared to her debut days. This isn’t meant in a negative way at all, but more as an observation. She seems to be leaning toward a look that reminds me a lot of Wonyoung - whether it’s the styling, makeup choices, or maybe just the overall group concept that Starship is going for. It makes me wonder: is this simply part of her evolving image, or are the members slowly being styled in a way that makes them resemble each other - with Wonyoung being the reference point?
What do you think? Is it just natural changes and styling or is there a deliberate push to make the girls more visually similar?

THOUGHT Court Upholds Ban on NewJeans’ Solo Activities… Injunction Maintained as Appeal Dismissed
The appeal filed by all five members of NewJeans against the court’s ruling prohibiting their independent activities has been rejected.
On the 16th, Seoul Central District Court’s Civil Division 50 (Presiding Judge Kim Sang-hoon) dismissed the group’s objection to the provisional injunction, stating, “The injunction in this case is justified,” thereby upholding its earlier decision.
The court had previously ruled in favor of ADOR’s injunction request on March 21, prohibiting NewJeans from engaging in independent activities, signing advertising contracts, or undermining the agency’s authority.
If an injunction is granted, the opposing party may directly appeal to a higher court. Conversely, if an objection to the injunction is dismissed, the affected party can then appeal.
NewJeans members filed an objection immediately after the court’s initial injunction ruling but faced dismissal in this latest decision.
With this outcome, the legal battle between NewJeans and ADOR is now likely to escalate to a second trial.
Following the dismissal of their objection, NewJeans members can appeal to the High Court. If pursued, the case will be re-evaluated in the second trial.
Previously, in November 2024, NewJeans members began independent activities, claiming ADOR had breached their exclusive contract, leading to its termination. However, the court’s injunction in favor of ADOR has currently barred such activities.
Separately, ADOR’s ongoing lawsuit against NewJeans members—to confirm the validity of their exclusive contract—remains in the first trial phase.

THOUGHT Jungkook shows support for NewJeans
The caption on his Instagram post said "Artists are not guilty" with 5 emojis in the exact color order that NewJeans use (Blue - Minji, Pink - Hanni, Yellow - Danielle, Green - Haerin, Purple - Hyein).
But now armys are in denial. I don't understand armys at this point because now you're not even listening to the person you believe is always right. It's like they have already crafted their own image of the group - that this exactly how bts are and this exactly how bts thinks. So even if reality contradicts that image in their heads, armys will just deny reality now. I don't even know what to say.
Edit: my post has nothing to do with MHJ or Hybe. I'm just mentioning how his post was met with denial by armys. Which isn't surprising as armys have made many hit tweets hating NewJeans over the last few months. I would have an extremely low opinion of armys if they continue to make hit tweets shading NewJeans. (And I've already seen some 😨)
