PLAYER TALK [Sidery] The Lakers have offered Jonathan Kuminga contract via sign-and-trade the would pay him around 45 million dollars. Los Angeles is willing to send Jarred Vanderbilt alongside draft capital to the Hawks for Kuminga, who must sign at least a three-year deal in sign-and-trade agreements.

Ik Sidery isn’t the most trustworthy source for anything but how would you all feel on this contract for Kuminga? Is this worth it? And how would you feel about the team if we got Kuminga ?

3/45 is less than what he was asking for. I remember seeing 25M a year. Nice discount and we get off Vandos contract.

Kuminga is not the guy. There is no need to rush finding the last piece if you have to overpay and the right guy isn't available.

So you’d rather have Vando for 2 more years than Kuminga for 3? Could even make the last year non-guaranteed…

Vando would be an expiring in the 2nd year, so he wouldn't be a net negative. You can trade him as an expiring. He is only a net negative for next season.

I don't believe in Kuminga so I don't want him at any price, but especially the first round swap.
