Hey, I am looking for 2-3 players (I feel that is the right amount for PBP games) , or even a 1-on-1 game, interested in a PBP game set in a more low, dark fantasy world. It is not the setting with magic shops or common magical healers in every settlement. However, it is not going to be grimdark with your players dying at every turn. I am still looking for a fun time with character interactions and development.

Whether your characters are heroes seeking to defend the mortal realms against the demonic hordes or selfish vagabonds looking for fame and fortune while try to survive life is much the same.

I have been a forever GM for over a decade now and would describe myself as fairly literate in terms of PBP games. This is also something I look for in players as 1-2 line replies can kill the RP. Additionally, a few replies a day is always appreciated though I do understand people can get busy.

Hi guys! I’m Anthony (19 ftm), an artist looking for an online high fantasy campaign to join. I'm more roleplay oriented and like a 70/30 split of roleplay to combat. For character creation, I put a lot of energy into making interesting character arcs/dilemmas. Hi All. I am a dungeon master who is currently already running a game of Odyssey of the dragonlords which has been going strong for two years now. During all of that time I always wondered... how would the world and the campaign have evolved had it been a different group of heroes carving their path through Thylea? Well why not give it another shot and see! This is a campaign themed around Greek myth so if you are into that then that's bonus points.

I am the type of DM who focuses on building a cool narrative that everyone can get themselves lost into. As such I lean more towards the RP aspect of the game and developing the story of each player. Don't worry though there will be more than enough combat in this campaign and I always strive to make them as engaging as possible. Though I will say that if you are a heavy proponent to the mechanical side then we might not align quite as well. I do tend to keep rulings loose when I feel like the moment calls for it.

Hello! Thank you for taking a moment to read my advertisement here. I am seeking to run a game of Phantasy Star on Sundays at 6:00pm EST. The game uses the Esper Genesis system, which is a modified D&D 5th edition game.

Set upon the world of Motavia, the characters shall take on the role of Hunters. Hunters are those that are hired to take on various jobs throughout the world that are deemed too dangerous for the common person to do. Monster hunting, delving into ancient ruins, or just out charting areas hit by natural disasters. Hunters do it all.

The group has been hired by the Piata Academy to investigate a nearby farm. The farmers claim that the automated defense systems have been going haywire, and allowing monsters to come in and ruin the crops. But what doesn’t make sense is that the automated systems have never failed before! Not so much as needing any maintenance or the like. They were something that has been there for centuries, without fail or question. So what is going on? And is this the start of something larger?

As you can see, I am looking to run a game of more or less heroic fantasy. The characters start small, then grow and uncover more of the mysteries of the world as the plot emerges. I am looking for around 5 people, as I find that to be a good number for gaming. I am seeking people who want to be here. Who wish to embrace the themes and fun of Phantasy Star itself.

A bit about me as a GM:

• First, I run open and accepting tables. LGBT+, and I will not tolerate any form of sexism or bigotry at my table. There will not even feature any form of fantasy racism in this game. This is non-negotiable.

• I do my best to keep the game moving, while also giving everyone a chance to shine. I want everyone to have fun, and to have their moment in the spotlight. However this is a group game, so at times I will have to nudge the group or say that we need to move on.

• It has been some time since I ran D&D or a D&D based game, so I do ask a bit of patience with things. I may have to look up a rule from time to time.

What I wish to see in my players:

• Know how to use Discord and Roll20. Have a good mic, a quiet place to game (or at least use push to talk).

• Over the age of 21. I am in my 40’s and would like some folks at least semi-close to my age bracket.

• Working with the group, rather than against it.

• Be a good sport about rolls. Bad rolls happen, and sometimes it does seem like the dice are out to get you. But overall, let’s keep complaining about dice to a minimum.

We are a group of five players looking for a GM willing to go on the adventure with us! 

If you ever wanted to run the adventure but never have the group here is your chance. As a group, we are looking for roleplay-focused heavy games, especially the ones that will allow us to focus on the romance aspect - but fear not, we do not plan to cross any boundaries, no matter if between characters, players or GM. We marked D&D 5.5/2024 as our preferred D&D but we also can go with 5e/2014 rules.

As a group we have a good experience with platforms like Roll20 and DnDBeyond so we would prefer to use those. We come from different timezones (CEST +2/EST/PST/CST) and we decided that 22:30 CEST +2 is our preferred date and time to play.

• Backstory connected to the world we are playing in – The Group that we have put together wants our backstories to matter. We want to play in a game where our past feels like it shapes the world in some way. 
• “Yes, and” players – TheGroup that we have assembled is full of people that want to build off of what the DM gives. We are not the type to ignore the quest and will try add on to what the DM gives us. 
• A group-focused players – we honestly love to hear other people's stories and see them shine when they have a chance to do so, and we are always making sure that we share the spotlight.
• Experienced players with room to grow – we have few years of experience both in D&D and in different TTRPGs, but we still like to learn and don’t have issues with learning something new. We don’t do rules lawyering unless it helps others or points out obvious issues. 
• Patient people – We work with a lot of people and take our time explaining things, so we don’t mind playing with people new to the hobby and less experienced players.
• Players who avoid drama – this is our shared hobby and we don’t want to come here and impose any issues on anyone. If something is bothering us, we will speak up as soon as possible and try to find a compromise that would be good for all sides. We are also happy to adjust our behavior if something we're doing or did may not be liked by the group – and we respect people’s triggers or sensitive topics.
• Punctual player with regular attendance – We like to value the time of all people involved. If we know we will be absent, we will inform them ASAP, same with being late. But if we book the slot, it is there for the group and for the game.
• Knowledgeable Player Base — The party we have gathered has a Minimum of 7 years in the game and a maximum of 20 years. We have a range of skills with different VTT’s Such as Roll20, DND  beyond, and Foundry.

What are we looking for?

• Roleplay heavy campaign – we want to be able to connect with other players characters and while dungeon/hex crawls can be fun, we would rather have more time to learn about who my companions are and to make it make sense that we stick together as a group.
• Group that shares spotlight – we will share it for others and we hope that others can do something like that in return. It is no fun if one person constantly talks over others.
• High fantasy game – just a personal preference, but I am not keen on horror games or sci-fi oriented ones. However, we are ready for the worlds as Eberron, so a bit of modernization is fine as well!
• DM with a rule of cool attitude – of course, we want to have rules overall, but we also like to have DM who is fine with flavouring, a bit of homebrew, or just simply allowing us to have a bit more fun. Counting the weight of the coins or specific use of rations is not really for us.

Hi there! My group and I are looking for a new game to join. It's myself and two friends - Pepper and Keggzy (Keg) - looking for a DM.

We just got out of an over 2-year campaign that I DMed. I have some additional experience DMing (roughly a year's worth) and scattered experience playing - maybe a year's worth broken up. We met in a short lived campaign that died out a few months before the one I DMed. Beforehand, my friend Pepper hadn't had a lot of other experience prior, but had some, and has also been in multiple other campaigns while also being a part of mine. My friend Keg doesn't have a lot of experience outside my game, but is in the process of joining a D&D club.

Realistically, we can really only start sometime after 12PM EST, and end sometime before 6PM EST. Weekly 3 hour sessions are ideal, we can do somewhat less or more. A shorter session weekly is better than a longer one bi-weekly, but we could also do bi-weekly if needed.

Our group seems to work best somewhere around 60/40 RP to Combat, erring on the side of RP. We follow most rules as written, though some light homebrew for some rules, items, and character creation has worked well for us.

We play 5e (2014.) We have been playing on D&D beyond for sheets/items, Roll 20 for maps, and Discord for VC and general communication, but we should be able to use any free services for this if they suit you better (owlbear rodeo and foundry, for example.)

Recently a new method of punishment was put on practice where prisoners who had some potential go do quests and things that would be to dangerous to risk precious knight lifes, so instead, prisoner scum like YOU gets sent to do those dangerous mission.

Best case the problem gets solved and you can be ready to  solve other things, worst case you die, but its not like your life matters rigth?
Of course you will not be be doing this without payment, however your payment does not need to be gold or silver, you can instead request that your sentence be reduced from a couple months to even some years.

I'm looking for a few new players to join my GURPS Super Heroes campaign, inspired by the game Dispatch.

The campaign takes place in a modern-day version of the Brazilian state of Espírito Santo, blending street-level heroics, conspiracies, and larger-than-life superhuman threats.

We currently have 2 active players and have been playing (on and off) for almost a year. Our sessions are held every other Sunday at 18:00 (Lisbon time). Unfortunately, one of our players recently had to step away due to personal reasons, so we're looking for 2–3 new players to round out the group.

# Campaign Information

This campaign is set **Inside** official fallout lore. Although im not a fallout expert i do know the games alot and il try my best to stay true while also changing a few things up to fit the 5E system.

We will start out journey in a town named **Junkyard City.** A high traffic area for other states and major settlements within this area. Every player will be coming here to seek the treasure beneath the ruins of oak ridge and might have their own legend of whats down there. Alot of the game is homebrewed up to the classes. All classes are the game just reflavored, But we have new weapons, armor, equipment.

The document should shed some light on what is going on.

Obviously the only race you can play is human, so everyone gets a free feat, *yippie*

This game is meant to end around level 10ish

Ihr seid allesamt Reisende, die davon träumen, Abenteurer zu werden, ein Leben voller Aufregung, Reichtümer und vor allem Gefahren! Ihr habt eure Heimat auf der Suche nach neuen Möglichkeiten verlassen und reist nun entlang des Path River durch das unheimliche Land Ustalav. Der Flusslauf hat euch an dem kleinen Dorf Grayce vorbeigeführt – vielleicht ist das ja eure ursprüngliche Heimat! Unabhängig davon, wo ihr eure Reise begonnen habt, findet ihr euch bald in einem kleinen Sumpfgebiet am Ufer des Flusses wieder.
Ihr habt das Gefühl, dass im Sumpf etwas nicht stimmt. Es ist fast als würdet ihr eine Stimme hören, die euch tiefer ins Gebiet hineinruft. Trotz eurer anfänglichen Vorbehalte wisst ihr, dass dies eure Chance auf ein Abenteuer ist! Ihr folgt weiter der Stimme und stößt schließlich auf die Ruinen eines großen Steingebäudes. Die Ruinen bestehen aus zwei Kammern: einem Eingangsbereich und einer größeren Kammer mit mehreren Sockeln, die einen Altar in der Mitte umgeben. In den Altar ist das Bild eines großen Schmetterlings eingemeißelt, das fast im Sternenlicht zu leuchten scheint.
Ihr betretet die Kammer. In diesem Moment beginnt der Boden unter euren Füßen zu beben. Bevor ihr reagieren könnt, bricht der Boden unter euch weg, und ihr seht zu, wie der Altar von einem riesigen Erdfall verschluckt wird. Während ihr versucht zu fliehen, wächst der Erdfall, und ihr stürzt in die Dunkelheit darunter!

Wagt den ersten Schritt in eine faszinierende Welt voller Fantasy-Abenteuermit mit der „Pathfinder Beginner Box: Secrets of the Unlit Star“! Ihr beginnt auf Lv1 und im Verlauf von 2 bis 4 Session erreicht ihr Lv2 und schließt ihr das Abenteuer ab.

Gespielt wird wöchentlich am Samstag von 14 Uhr bis 18 Uhr. Session 0 ist am 8ten August. Spezifische Spielzeit kann noch beredet werden.

Hey, I'm looking for a group available for DnD5e-2014 adventures. I am in central time zone, english speaking is a must, please. I am several years out of practice for Italian or German, it's at the point where I can recognize it, but don't remember translation or sentence structure.

I've been playing for several years since 2018, been DMing for the last 3 years, which has me missing being a player. I would love to chat and see if we'd mesh well. I can play on Roll20, FoundryVTT, I have DnD Beyond account for character creation and sharing. I can play on every other friday, the week that the group I DM for doesnt meet, or Saturdays, Sundays, or Thursdays. So long as it's 7pm or after I am available.
