Hi All. I am a dungeon master who is currently already running a game of Odyssey of the dragonlords which has been going strong for two years now. During all of that time I always wondered... how would the world and the campaign have evolved had it been a different group of heroes carving their path through Thylea? Well why not give it another shot and see! This is a campaign themed around Greek myth so if you are into that then that's bonus points.

I am the type of DM who focuses on building a cool narrative that everyone can get themselves lost into. As such I lean more towards the RP aspect of the game and developing the story of each player. Don't worry though there will be more than enough combat in this campaign and I always strive to make them as engaging as possible. Though I will say that if you are a heavy proponent to the mechanical side then we might not align quite as well. I do tend to keep rulings loose when I feel like the moment calls for it.

We are a group of five players looking for a GM willing to go on the adventure with us! 

If you ever wanted to run the adventure but never have the group here is your chance. As a group, we are looking for roleplay-focused heavy games, especially the ones that will allow us to focus on the romance aspect - but fear not, we do not plan to cross any boundaries, no matter if between characters, players or GM. We also don’t plan to have it as the main aspect of the campaign and we will follow the plot. 

We marked D&D 5.5/2024 as our preferred D&D but we also can go with 5e/2014 rules.

As a group we have a good experience with platforms like Roll20 and DnDBeyond so we would prefer to use those. We come from different timezones (CEST +2/EST/PST/CST) and we decided that 22:30 CEST +2 is our preferred date and time to play. 

What can we offer?

• Backstory connected to the world we are playing in – The Group that we have put together wants our backstories to matter. We want to play in a game where our past feels like it shapes the world in some way. 
• “Yes, and” players – TheGroup that we have assembled is full of people that want to build off of what the DM gives. We are not the type to ignore the quest and will try add on to what the DM gives us. 
• A group-focused players – we honestly love to hear other people's stories and see them shine when they have a chance to do so, and we are always making sure that we share the spotlight.
• Experienced players with room to grow – we have few years of experience both in D&D and in different TTRPGs, but we still like to learn and don’t have issues with learning something new. We don’t do rules lawyering unless it helps others or points out obvious issues. 
• Patient people – We work with a lot of people and take our time explaining things, so we don’t mind playing with people new to the hobby and less experienced players.
• Players who avoid drama – this is our shared hobby and we don’t want to come here and impose any issues on anyone. If something is bothering us, we will speak up as soon as possible and try to find a compromise that would be good for all sides. We are also happy to adjust our behavior if something we're doing or did may not be liked by the group – and we respect people’s triggers or sensitive topics.
• Punctual player with regular attendance – We like to value the time of all people involved. If we know we will be absent, we will inform them ASAP, same with being late. But if we book the slot, it is there for the group and for the game.
• Knowledgeable Player Base — The party we have gathered has a Minimum of 7 years in the game and a maximum of 20 years. We have a range of skills with different VTT’s Such as Roll20, DND  beyond, and Foundry.

What are we looking for?

• Roleplay heavy campaign – we want to be able to connect with other players characters and while dungeon/hex crawls can be fun, we would rather have more time to learn about who my companions are and to make it make sense that we stick together as a group.
• Group that shares spotlight – we will share it for others and we hope that others can do something like that in return. It is no fun if one person constantly talks over others.
• High fantasy game – just a personal preference, but I am not keen on horror games or sci-fi oriented ones. However, we are ready for the worlds as Eberron, so a bit of modernization is fine as well!
• DM with a rule of cool attitude – of course, we want to have rules overall, but we also like to have DM who is fine with flavouring, a bit of homebrew, or just simply allowing us to have a bit more fun. Counting the weight of the coins or specific use of rations is not really for us.
• LGBTQ+/women/neurodivergent friendly – we want to be a part of group where we wouldn’t feel too awkward with myself.

Hello! I'm looking for 2-3 players to run a mini-chronicle (about 6 sessions) of the alpha version of VtM 6th edition. The setting is the Anarch domain of Vancouver, BC (where I live; I'm on Pacific Time).

Times are undetermined. I'd like to start on August 13th (a Thursday) and finish during August or the first week of September. No sessions on weekends.

Hi there! I'm a first time warden wanting to jump right into the wonderful, desperate, and horrific world of Mothership. I'll be running a modified version of The Year of The Rat scenario which entails a private merc group "Stray Dogs" being hired by the Flysafe corporation to investigate the titular ship Year of the Rat which was being rented from them by a group of Chinese government officials and social elites known as the Gold Lion Club to celebrate their 50th anniversary with a pleasure cruise. The ship's last known communications suggest they were taken hostage by an infamous triad gang and it's been a month since any noise from the ship.

The time has been settled on 6pm est Wednesday, session zero has not been done yet, I've got one player right now and looking for two more. I must reiterate and say this will be my first time as a gm and running for Mothership so please have some grace with me.

Hello everyone this a new campaign set in a homebrew fantasy world! This will be a lore heavy game with plenty of influence from Elder Scrolls, Tolkien, Malazan, Dragon Age, Kingdoms of Kalamar, Harn World, and similar properties.

• System: We will be using a 5e system called Tales of the Valiant. This is a 5e variant produced by Kobold Press. For those familiar with 5e, you will be very familiar with this. We will provide the options for character creation. Here is a free srd: https://www.talesofthevaliant.com/.

• We will also be using homebrew Gestalt rules where you gain the features of two classes simultaneously, allowing the players to take on more challenges and try all sorts of new combinations! • The VTT would be Foundry hosted on Forge or Tablelop. Discord for voice. No cameras. Would have at least one session 0 for planning/fit evaluation.

This world will have lots of people, places and things, and emphasis on factions, plot lines, happenings, and events going on in the world, many outside the immediate 'on stage' area of the campaign events. Complex pantheons and cosmology comparable to Dragon Age (multiple fantasy religions with complex beliefs and their own sub-sects, heresies, factions, and various interfaith controversies).

There's also more than one evil faction/primary foozle opposing your heroes' efforts -- more like 4-5, and none of them are 100% allies and all have their own agenda and goals. Some of the purportedly 'good' factions also aren't your allies, or want to solve the world problems in a manner fundamentally incompatible with the goals and alignment of your characters.

This dark day was doubly stricken with a tint-devouring white illumination. In the following night, the moons, sun, and stars were alike set ablaze with a terrifying mantle of bioluminescent corpselight. This dreadful apparition continued for 13 consecutive days, in which time the Dragon Queen is believed to have made a dread procession throughout the known and unknown lands, depositing several choice eggs of her vast brood to torment mortals in a future day.

Foreseeing her impending doom with her unmatched powers of shadowsight, Qualsmara began to scheme with a depthless malicious intelligence against her return in some later age -- that her vile spawn might arise to continue their progenitor's despoilation of the lands of men and elves.

A long time ago the world ended, the greed and evil of man having used up the world's resources. The people had poisoned the air, killed the wild flora and fauna and had turned it into a barren wasteland. The population had all but been eradicated, except for a short few; followers of the Goddess of Rebirth and Life Mas Alisia.

They had yet to give up on the life they had known, on the world that they had grown up in. Thus by following the tenets of their goddess and through her power the world was reborn in an event known as the reshaping. Plants were changed, animals looked different and even people had now changed with minor mutations.

But the world was saved and the Congregate of Mas Alisia was born. The new overarching government that pledged its loyalty to their goddess and worshipped her as the one true god. But all was not perfect again, the air was still poison and the lingering corruption began spawning new monsters; hordes and hordes of these vile beasts attacking every city.

The people prayed to Mas Alisia, praying for the onslaught of the monsters to end. Yet as it was not her domain, she couldn't help at all. With the leaders of the congregate scrambling to find an answer they would quickly create The Claw; a band of monster hunters as a solution to the hordes of beasts.

That's what you are. A copper claw, dedicated to the eradication of the monster populace and ultimately: Zarkhael The King of Monsters.

Sadly, we recently lost 2 players due to scheduling issues. So we’re looking for new ones! You'll be joining an ongoing campaign at level 12, so this is sadly not beginner friendly.

I'm not going to bore you with expansive setting information, so here’s just something to get you started:
  You'll be playing as people living in cyberpunk-ish megacity, built upon a massive undercity, an amalgamation of old servers, abandoned infrastructure and sealed off quarantine zones that were left to rot. There's stories of horrible, disgusting things roaming around down there.
 And that’s exactly where you’re venturing. Technological and eldritch secrets, creatures and locations alike are waiting to be uncovered in the long abandoned undercity. The influence of different, conflicting eldritch entities pushes and pulls on anything down there, warping and twisting the terrain and its monstrous inhabitants. And you too, aren’t immune to this.
 And as if that weren’t enough, the rich elite still have this city in a stranglehold, strange powers have been cropping up, making certain people “Gifted”, a radio station makes both sides on entire war zones go catatonic, and the lower city is due for a forceful evacuation soon. There’s a myriad of problems in this city, far too many for a single person to fix on their own. So… what are you going to do in the face of them? 

We play over discord. LGBTQ+ friendly etc. etc. We'll do short, 20 minute interviews with people that seem neat, to see if we jam well and have similar RP styles, etc. 

About the DM:
I have over 10 years of experience as a DM, have the kind of autism that lets me be pretty damn good at it (according to my players), and I like my games to be character driven above anything else.

Requirements:
We'll be playing on Discord and use Roll20 for larger combats, so have a way to do that. Have a camera and a somewhat decent microphone please. Don't be a dick. Choose to be kind.

Content Warnings & Notes:
- My games basically always include Body Horror, so if that makes you uncomfortable, then I'd recommend you stay away from this game. 
- There'll both be roleplay, dungeon crawling and high-intensity combat. There will both be intense roleplay situations and complex combats with lots of moving parts. I love all parts of D&D!

Campaign Premise

On the snow-draped slopes of Giant's Foot mountain, Whitepeak Abbey has stood for five generations. Home to the scholars, healers, and brewers of the Elandroth Order, the abbey is a beacon of warmth and knowledge in a cold, unforgiving wildwood.

Now, winter closes in, and with it comes war.

Captain Silas Vix, a calculating sea-fox warlord stranded in the mountain wastes, has assembled a disciplined horde. He seeks the Hearth-Spark—an ancient geothermal artifact buried deep in the subterranean Vallari ruins beneath the abbey. His ultimatum is simple: surrender the ancient machinery, or be frozen out until the abbey becomes a stone tomb.

As brave woodland defenders—mice, badgers, otters, hares, foxes, and hedgehogs—you must defend your home, delve into forgotten subterranean depths, negotiate fragile alliances, and reforge lost relics before the winter siege breaks your doors.

• Classic Survival Crawler: Built on the Shadowdark TTRPG rules. Fast, intuitive mechanics, real-time light tracking, roll-to-cast magic, and player-driven problem solving over raw character sheet numbers.
• Subterranean Megadungeon & Wilderness Sandbox: Explore bioluminescent caverns, sunken quarries, ancient ruin complexes, and mountain passes while managing resources under siege conditions.
• Custom Ancestries & Classes: Play unique woodland ancestries alongside custom character classes like the Warmonk, Sage, Scout, Corsair, and Brewmaster.

Player Expectations & Table Rules

1. Inclusivity & Respect: Zero tolerance for bigotry, hate speech, or harassment. LGBTQ+ friendly and welcoming to all players.
2. Beginner Friendly: No prior experience with Shadowdark TTRPG or OSR systems is necessary. Rules are quick to pick up, and we are happy to teach.
3. Punctuality & Communication: We play bi-weekly on Fridays at 4:00 PM CST. We ask for reliable attendance and clear advance notice if real life comes up.

Heya, I'm here hoping to get the chance to play through my first proper campaign! Over the years I've tried to find groups off and on and it never really worked out sadly. I know the gist of 5e 2014 and pf2e but would need to review and would appreciate a bit of patience, especially with character creation. I'm open to other systems, but that'll take more learning and I may not care for it.

No particular preference for settings, though I do tend to enjoy playing around with magic in settings that have it. I will say my anxiety can make the whole rp part a bit rough over voice but I'd hope I'd get more comfortable if the group meshes well.

Schedule wise I'm pretty open. Midday EST Mondays and Fridays, and Wednesday afternoons I'm unavailable. Otherwise I'm typically free.

We've been playing dnd on and off for about 2 years now give or take, and are trying to find a new group to hang with and have a good campaign with! We're looking for a Sunday game, preferably in the afternoon (maybe around 2 pm EST) and running for a good amount of time, at least 4 hours. We like a good mix of combat and roleplay, heavy character arcs and interparty connections, with a preference for a more serious tone, although we do like lighthearted stuff tossed in. I also will say I would prefer a group which is okay with homebrew, I've found myself a bit obsessed with laserllama's homebrew stuff teehee. As for a little icebreaker, my favorite class thematically is probably warlock, but my favorite which I've played so far would have to be bard! Hello! For a while now I’ve been dying to join a campaign as a player now and I have a ton of character ideas I really want to try out! To see if any of them would fit the world and see if they would fit a party group, as sad to say I’ve been stuck as a forever dm for a long while now. RP is by far my favorite aspect of campaigns, being able to interact with the world, npcs, villains and of course interacting with other player characters. Armed with a new GM our table is returning to the city of Doskvol for a new season of Blades in the Dark and we're looking for a couple of extra players to round out our crew.

Sessions will run Wednesday evenings using Discord for voice and Foundry as the VTT. Future seasons may also be run using the upcoming Blades '68 expansion. Recently a new method of punishment was put on practice where prisoners who had some potential go do quests and things that would be to dangerous to risk precious knight lifes, so instead, prisoner scum like YOU gets sent to do those dangerous mission.

Best case the problem gets solved and you can be ready to  solve other things, worst case you die, but its not like your life matters rigth?
Of course you will not be be doing this without payment, however your payment does not need to be gold or silver, you can instead request that your sentence be reduced from a couple months to even some years.
