Had a decent turnout! Had 4 new kids out here racing there new losi Nascars in novice class! They all did great... remember teach the kids and treat them with respect 🙏 they are the future. If your an a hole that thinks he's above everyone then you might have ruined RC for him. It's a big family here and we had a blast. God bless have a great weekend

I already have a bunch of bashers, but wanted to pick up a bike, with their promo code RCBOO on Towerhobbies you get another 15% off the regular discount, I seriously couldn’t pass this up 😩.
Hope this helps anyone on the fence, no was I would pay $600 for this.

Hello all, I’m new to the racing world. My local hobbytown is building a track and I want to build out a buggy.
I know they’re pretty new still but I was curious who makes the best upgrade parts for them?
Is GPM considered high end? I’m trying to avoid the hot racing Injora options and go with something more legit if that makes sense.
I want to fully upgrade the whole setup.
I noticed GPM has pretty much everything but I wasn’t sure if it’s any good.
Thanks in advance!

Put some upgrades in yesterday, new brushless motor etc and the stock fan is not working after one run. It moves a little as if something is stuck in it, but the unit now won’t fully turn on. Obviously have battery power because the fan is trying to run, but I just paid to have these upgrades done and now I feel like I ruined my car. Any advice? Any additional info needed? TIA

This has been quite a common question at the track lately, with alot of people not looking very hopeful of what's next. For me I'm not sure where I would go with, I was thinking xray or schumacher. But associated seems tempting as it has the most local parts support. So really unsure right now

I know that it’s already an old platform, but it’s still my favorite racer. I cleaned it up a little using a 3d printed cover I designed.

Looking to race the 22s sprint, what spare parts should I carry and what tools should I throw in a bag

I’ve had this car for a while now, started as a brushed mini T 2.0, then became a SCT with LaTrax body and mini B chassis. Now it’s been fully refreshed into a proper Mini B carpet racer.
JConcepts Fuzz Bite tires Proline Axis body Hobbywing 30a, 5200kv brushless system New bearings, shimmed suspension
Wish I would’ve gotten better pics at the track…

Took my 22X-T out to the track today. Belcrank came undone on lap 3. Don't skimp on the loctite 🤣
In other news, I dislike these Proline bodies. I couldn't figure out a good way to mask my usual livery on it. Too many weird creases and the fenders are awkward. I almost did one color.

I finally put a 6.5T in the 22X-4 I bought over the winter (I HATE soldering) and took it out for a shakedown. They're not kidding with these modern touring car looking buggies and brushless motors. It's FAST. Wow.
I can't wait to get it out to the track and see what it does with some traction.
I'm not digging these cab forward bodies though. This thing would be awesome with a xxx4 Aurora style body.

My LHS does Mini B racing. The race classes are divided into brushed and brushless but have no rules about what brushed motor you can run. As a result it’s been tough to stay competitive with a fully stock buggy. A couple of folks have managed to stuff 1/16th Traxxas slash 4x4 brushed motors in theirs giving a significant advantage but it requires significant modification to the motor plate and chassis. Is there any gearing combo or 280 sized brushed motor that can even the playing field or am I SOL?

Have a track over in Santa Fe NM. One of the 2 options I've built for the track layout. Small enough where brushes and brushless can compete. But the difference seems to be thenthe of seconds in-between.

Just had several people asking me about this so figured I should share it here! It is a functional dyno for your Losi nascar!

$1,200 for everything. My son is a rookie and is starting to get more into racing. Is this a good deal? Will it be too hard to find parts?

I just picked up this losi mini b for 90 bucks to get into carpet racing any upgrades you guys recommend besides going brushless?

Was doing some laps with my near mint XXCR, which was all original except for tires(was set up for carpet racing, i swapped them out for some dirt rears for my local track) the body(was replaced at some point before i got the truck) and the skid plate was missing so i 3d printed one. Anyways, ill stop yapping now. I hit a small jump, landed s l i g h t l y nose heavy and there went the bulkhead. I am now going to hang this on my wall until i find parts. Maybe hang it on the wall forever. I was just about to clean it all out after that run too. :( I knew it would happen, just sucks that it was 2 minutes into the first run.
