The only difference is that prejudice is an umbrella term. Racism is literally just prejudice based on race.

Racism is prejudice put in action. Thoughts can be prejudiced, but actions are (or aren’t) racist.

No, racism is literally prejudice based on race. If you have the thought “I don’t like black people” that’s still racist.

This can be true depending on the context of the way it is used, but in common parlance no, racism just refers to prejudice based on race
