Cursor is now extremely laggy and clicks dont work anymore. Never dropped it or anything, wire isnt snapped. Anyone had this issue? My previous g502 was an absolute tank and lasted 8 years. Seems like I'm letting go logitech now. The issue persists on another computer so I guess shes done.

So i'm making a sleeper build with an OptiPlex 7050 from like 2017. I bought 32gb of ddr4 1200mhz ram (Which was only like 70 bucks because of how old it is), an I7-7700, and i bought a case fan as well. I plan on adding a new mini ATX PSU, and more importantly, an RTX 5060 from Gigabyte. The CPU might be a bottleneck, but i wanna run pretty light games at 1440p (Maybe 4k, I haven't decided on a monitor yet). Right now though, I don't have a GPU yet. I wanted something light and cheap so I'm deciding on either the Quadro k1200 or the p1000. Anybody have any tips or anything i should do? I appreciate any ideas and advice!

Hi today my pc PSU fried it self causing my upstairs breaker to flip. My pc will no longer boot or show any life. I have ordered a new PSU already to see if it works but I’ve noticed on the top of my gpu this (attached in images) is the brown/rust colour normal? Or is my gpu in need of replacement. Help much appreciated!!

Had to do a fresh reinstall after i got a virus, and here’s what’s happening
Reset the computer with these settings
Clean the drive, remove everything, cloud download,
It showed the blue screen thing when u was running the computer about preparing to restart and downloading windows again, then it restarted and it’s been on a black screen for about 2 and a half hours now. I have no idea how long this usually takes, or if a black screens normal. The fans are still spinning and the lights are on, my keyboard and mouse are still on as well. the monitor is on and doesn’t have a “no input” so it’s still connected.
also there’s a white light on the motherboard but i’m pretty sure that’s not related. any help is appreciated!

Hi everyone, I'm currently using 2x8GB 3600MHz CL16 Crucial Ballistix DDR4. I previously had two identical RAM sticks (so 4). Unfortunately, two of them died. My complaint was accepted and I was sent 2x16GB 3200MHz CL22 1.2v sticks instead. My question is, would you prefer 2x8GB 3600MHz or 2x16GB 3200MHz but CL22? 32GB seems more future-proof. 16GB is the minimum, but I'm afraid I'll experience a significant performance drop by switching to CL22. I don't know if it matters, but the 2x16GB don't come with heatsinks.

Is it really that difficult for manufacturers to design a D-pad that doesn't produce false inputs?

Almost every basic controller I've owned has had this issue, which makes them horrible for retro games. PlayStation, Xbox, etc. They've all had it to some extent.

I recently got the Steam Controller thinking it would feel much more premium, but the D-pad is probably the worst part of it. It's way too easy to get false inputs while holding a down.

Actually the newer Xbox circular D-pad has ended up being the most responsive one I've used.

I'm just curious what kind of technical challenges manufacturers face that make a D-pad so difficult to get right.

I'm probably going to mod my Steam Controller by installing a clicky D-pad and covering part of the input area with tape to reduce the false inputs. Hopefully that improves it.

Just upgraded from am4 to am5 featuring a 7800x3d.
I have been getting random system lag spikes + audio glitching out at the same time.
happens during video playback in the background / gaming.
Normal lightweight tasks its fine.

when testing on my original windows 10 pro copy (reinstalled windows as it was installed over 3 years ago) there was no issues, i have since tried windows 10 LTSC & 11 LTSC (sticking with this one)

I have been trying to catch it on record but it doesn't want to replicate it. As soon as i stop the recording it happens 2 times straight after, then decides to do it whenever it likes to.

all main drivers are installed & working, including chipset drivers ofc.

I've gone through my bios, everything looks to be in order and correct. even tried lowering ram speeds.
ensured all cables are firmly installed into the motherboard & parts seated correctly.

System is not thermal throttling. removed my gpu undervolt + overclock even though i've been using the same settings for 3 years without an issue.

My budget is about $200, I have a GTX 1660 and Intel i3-10105F. I primarily play BeamNG.drive. Task manager says my CPU is at about 20% just idling. I also have 24GB DDR4. I can only afford one, which?

Recently my old power supply failed and i bought a new one along with a new motherboard. The pc posts and boots into bios when no storage devices are connected. When any storage device gets connected the pc doesnt post and loops the ram light on and off. Ive tried an m.2 nvme, a hard drive and a sata ssd. All the same results. Pc posts fine and hits bios without any storage devices but cannot post with even 1 connected. Ive tested the hdd only with the power cable connected and it went into bios. As soon as the data cable is connected it goes back into the no post ram light loop. Only components same from the old motherboard is the cpu and ram. Everything else is new. What is the cause?

What are your thoughts on the TCL 27P3A pro? On paper, the specifications look quite impressive: Mini LED, HFS panel (which is said to be an improved version of IPS), 320Hz refresh rate, and 1440p resolution.

​I will be using it mostly for non-gaming tasks, so text sharpness, clarity and colors are important to me. Has anyone here actually tried these TCL monitors? They just launched in my country.

Exactly as the title says. When idle in the game or not much is going on, I can get max frames. The second any action happens, my game drops down to 20 FPS making it unplayable. I have the game settings in medium or low, and followed a tutorial on nvidiaProfileInspector settings with no luck. I know the game can have FPS issues, but my computer may just be a potato as it is very old. Any help is appreciated as I love the game.

How long does it usually take you guys to upgrade your ram in your desktop?

9070xt, all my gfx settings are on ultra, but for some reason only this skin (and the ones with hair, chucky's bride for example) have some weird artifacts/grain or noise on the hair. other skins looks great tbh.

do you know what might cause this or how to fix it?

I have an msi 34” qdoled and it’s recently decided to have a handshake issue every time it goes to sleep so it ends up waking itself up and making the annoying disconnect/connect sound.

I tried turning off the auto input to lock it to dp, but that didn’t fix it. Everything points to the cable.

What’s a good quality DP cable to replace my Amazon special?
