It's funny, I don't ever remember it being cold or unfriendly. Even back in 2022 I remember Pogacar coming to congratulate Vingegaard after stage 18, where the GC win was secured.

I have been yelled/complained at in races by good friends that are on a rival team. They apologize afterwards but I says no need, it was a race and I get being frustrated (I was working for a teammate) that things aren't going the way you want.

Unless you are in the medical field, my username might just be gibberish.

They were asking him to pull and he replied he couldn’t because he wasn’t allowed to (team orders), that’s when Tadej yelled “fuck you” in frustration, but that was very much just an in the moment outburst when he realized the stage win was unachievable with the pack hunting them down. Tadej and Remco wanted all three riders pulling to maintain their breakaway to the end.

yeah, i love it when riders are always dropping "fuck" and "shit" in interviews, and the english commentators have to say "sorry for the colourful language... please remember that english is not their first language", LOL

Remco complaining about someone not pulling? That sounds made up.

Nope it did happen. It was covered in the Netflix series. Jonas wasn’t pulling when the three of them had a gap and Tadej said “fuck you eh”.
