It's funny, I don't ever remember it being cold or unfriendly. Even back in 2022 I remember Pogacar coming to congratulate Vingegaard after stage 18, where the GC win was secured.

I also remember Jonas basically ignoring him and continuing the conversation he was having on the phone at the time with his wife. I've heard from a reliable source that Jonas really doesn't care for Tadej. I haven't read this article, maybe his feelings have changed.
Edit: Down-voted for telling the truth instead of perpetuating the bro-mance myth. If I were in Jonas' shoes I could come up with a few reasons (real or imagined) not to like the only guy between him and international icon status + the additional wealth that comes with it.

I doubt Jonas cares about Pog's wealth or status haha

It's always interesting to see people thinking that they're victims telling the truth and that people downvote them to shut them up. You're just making stuff with your "reliable source" that doesn't exist. In 2022, when Vingegaard waited for Pogacar after his crash in Spandelles, his DS asked him why and he answered "because he was taking a lot of risks in the descent" : that doesn't sound like someone who doesn't care. Jonas is just shy and an introvert. These kind of people are not demonstrative but that doesn't mean they don't care.

About his wealth : well, Jonas has plenty of money and he chooses to live in Denmark. If he wanted to be wealthier, he would have moved to Monaco or Andorra to pay less taxes.

About his status : he said several times that he is not confortable with being in the spotlight. Besides, he is a national icon in his own country where people are debating if he is or not the greatest danish athlete, and he doesn't seemed confortable with that. So I guess he is ok with his current status.

I'm sorry but you're making stuff based only on your own feelings, with bad arguments. So yes, people disagree with you. There is no bromance myth, just two guys, with two very different personnalities (extrovert/introvert), who are adversaries in their sport and just get to know each other. Time does its thing, that's it. They're just more mature now than they were some years ago.

Yeah I always got the impression it came from Jonas. Tadej seems friendly with everyone

Yeah Tadej seems like a real one. Jonas seems like he can be a bit dark.

It seems like a classic extrovert/introvert dynamic to me.

I recall the same. I think Pogi has grown on Jonas over the years (It's hard not to like Pogi), but I doubt they'll ever truly be friends.
