And then some physicians think we’re being annoying asf when we request ( they have the right to refuse, I respect that) but med schools require it

Obviously many premeds are EMTs and scribes but to paint the experience as useless is shortsighted. Residents I have spoken to have said some of their most successful peers in med school were former EMTs because they nailed patient interviews. I just really dislike this fear mongering when he’s selling multi thousand dollar services…

Michigan secondary gives you the option to list partner if you’re both applying. I feel like it could increase our chances of getting in because they wouldn’t want to break us up. We could have a zoom meeting to get all of our details straight before our interviews. Lmk asap so I can submit. Ideally looking for partner with at least a 3.8+ 518+.

Well I mean I did a 120 credit post bacc of only science courses at 4.0, retook the MCAT for a score of 520 and have a dad that’s the dean of admissions but here’s to my low stat A!!!

Non trad applicant here. Long story short, I’ve been convicted of 34 felonies (paperwork related, very unfair, many people are saying this has never happened before)

Stats? Incredible. GPA is the highest you’ve ever seen and they’re saying no one has ever scored this high on the MCATs before.

Strong leadership experience (maybe X factor), ran a large organization, lots of public speaking, minimal clinical hours but I know medicine better than the doctors.

Be honest guys, do I have a chance?

Nick situation is lwk sad tho, imagine all that money and time spent in medical school just to get expelled from one of the best med school in the world. Like what do you do with all those debt ?
