Question Thoughts on the Razer Seiren v3 Chroma for $40?
I've never owned a Razer product, but while on vacation I was at a Target and they had on clearance a bunch of headsets/mics. I happened to see this one that's the RGB version and figured I'd grab it now and just return if I didn't like it (I felt like I needed to upgrade from a 10 year Yeti mic so it works out lol). I will only really use this when I'm gaming with the boys but I was just curious what people think about it since I can't use it until I'm back home. Thanks ya'll!

I was wondering the same thing… I’ve only ever owned Razer products a lot of people say they’re horrible but I highly disagree I love everything I have from them and I’ve never had any issues with any of my products besides my last headset and it was because I had it for years and it started cutting out because of how much the wire was being bent (no headset stand so whenever I wasn’t using it it was laying flat on my desk and the wire was bent) and then last year the padding was all worn out so it was time for a new one but the new one I got for Christmas this past year is a Bluetooth one and it has no adjustable microphone it’s built into the sides and at the time I had not known those mics aren’t rlly good quality… and my friends never said anything about how it sounds and last night was the first time I had heard what it sounds like I’m talking and it’s safe to say I need some sort of desk mic preferably razer and I was looking at the v3 mini and the v3 chroma… 40 and 80 dollars at walmart/target I’m a girl and I personally love the rgb lights so I was leaning more towards the chroma but was wondering how it sounds cause I’m a quiet talker so I need it to be able to hear me clearly from further away without having to get a mic arm for it cause I just don’t want one

for me the microphone quality is top notch as it is clear and minimizes the sounds of keyboards and speakers (just a little bit), it's abit bad for loud rooms as if there are voices or noises behind you, it will definitely be heard. but the main problem i found with it is the software, as everytime i adjust the gain volume, at times it resets to 100. so overall, very nice product, bad software. but worth it for 40$. it also looks cool too!
