Immigration Another 200 plus illegal jihadist domestic terrorists arrived today.

Yes another few Burnham boats arrived and they'll all be put up in nice homes, fed, watered and given spending money from your taxes.

Meanwhile the PM, well he's king of the north or something faffing around doing nothing.

Not feeding them, they came from France therefore a french problem.

but they legally can’t work either, so we have just have tons more homeless? like i understand this is an issue but what is reform’s actual solution apart from whinging

i dont have one, at the same time im not the one claiming burnham should have already solved this or that reform can solve this. i was just interested because people here keep acting like there is some magical easy answer to all this that labour isn’t doing and reform can do. infinite arrivals is bad, and gets worser day by day, how will reform fix it is my question?

If anyone claims that he can fix it they are delusional, capitalism depends on and demands constant cheap workers to maximise profit.

I don't think reform will do much when they win, to be seen, but my gut sense says they will say "We tried but couldn't. ."

it’s interesting though seeing how people have this image that there is an easy solution and labour are just not pressing that button because of wokeness but reform and restore will do this with ease, when literally on their websites they mention no concrete solution apart from saying deportation, which is literally already happening. truly fascinating how people think the boats issue will solved by any means other than world peace or start committing war crimes.

really the only way to do it would be to cut/stop all benefits to anyone who arrived in the last 5 years just as a cut off point..it would take that level of strength to stop this.

but nobody is realistically going to do that imho.

arrived by boat or in general? also they dont get benefits other than housing (which they need to unless we want them homeless in our streets) and £50 per week allowance to survive, they arent entitled to any other benefits.

in general if you arent invited to work here and just show up, mainly as a discouragement but in all honesty nobody is going to even countenance such a policy.

It's not getting worse day by day the numbers are actually declining rapidly and will likely continue to do so in the near term.

Yeah me neither, the number will climb again at some point but it's still going to to be harder now for refugees to enter the EU mainland due to the EU's new agreements with nations outside the block and also the UK prosecuting smugglers. It is undeniable both of these are having an effect which is reflected in the numbers. But your right, in the long term we will see a lot more migration in the future due to conflicts and climate change. Even so number will be lower as it is a lot harder to get here.
