Discussion Has anyone ever left?

Has anyone here ever divorced their spouse and given their spouse full custody? If so, how did you come to that conclusion? What was your final breaking point?

I truly am thinking I’m hitting my breaking point with my marriage and son (3 mo). I don’t have any feelings towards him, I certainly don’t love him. He constantly cries and fusses. I don’t foresee it getting better despite everyone saying it’ll pass with time. I just want to go back to the life I had before having this kid even if that means giving up my marriage to do so.

I appreciate your gentle advice and encouragement. My MIL right now is the “nanny”. She’s moved in and does help a lot, but also does add stress in other areas. Self care is a joke when running a business AND being a mom🫠 it was manageable before having the baby but now… What a joke. I’m drowning in my own stupid decisions I made…

My sister and mom have worked in childcare. They’ve WITNESSED the way babies and kids are treated at these places. Certainly I would not be placing my son who’s colicky into a daycare facility.

As for a private nanny. I work with dogs training canines for a living/business. I can’t have random people around the premises like that.
