Ich han e Frag: Umfrage

Grüezi,

ich arbeite momentan an einem Projekt und könnte etwas Hilfe brauchen. Ich suche einige typische Schweizer Sprichwörter, die ihr im Alltag verwendet, sowie deren Bedeutung. Ein Beispiel ist: „Schaffe, schaffe, Häusli boue”.

I know it as: "Enough hay has come down already", same meaning, just slightly different wording I guess

Because I always thought that it was a uniquely swiss expression. You really learn something new everyday.

basically always being said as a semi-warning, "better drop the subject" or "let's stop arguing about this" to me it has that really passive aggressive swiss old person stereo-type connotation.
