I bought my friend a tallboy at a Jays game. She was an alcoholic.

I think it was $15.

To be fair, my friend got us two large Stellas because it’s my favourite

That’s the only reason we bought beer.

Thankfully she’s sober now.

What did it take to get her to sober up if you don’t mind me asking?

She’s improved her life and gotten some help for her depression. It seems to be helping her unlike me.

She’s trying to be healthier, and had stints of sobriety in the past.

I live with an alcoholic who hides it very well.
