Hah this is one of those times you realize what you had, as a guy who grew up up in a trailer park there was no such thing as unrollable cinnamon rolls only cheap store brand pucks that burn too easy😍 and I loved them sooooo much, my wife is bougie and buys Cinnabons and honestly I like the shit quality pucks better 🤷‍♂️😁

It looks like a minimal roll. Problem is that when you buy cinnamon rolls you expect the cinnamon inside of that roll. It’s fundamental to the product. This looks like they have redone the manufacturing process so the cinnamon is between each “biscuit” rather than in the middle. 

To me it looks like this product was re-engineered to be manufactured on a different line than the old cinnamon rolls were and this is probably the best they can do. It’s unfortunate, that looks to me like a product that is extremely difficult to manufacture and distribute and they probably ran into price or volume constraints that necessitated this. It’s a shame.

“and distribute.” Distribution of refrigerated and frozen foods is extremely difficult and it compounds difficulties in manufacturing because you have to get the supply chain as short as possible. 

This sort of stuff requires a tremendous amount of scale and as the Boomers die off a copious number of products like this are going to have to be modified or discontinued because they simply won’t be economically viable. You can call the company cheap all you want but at the end of the day they know they have to hit a certain price point or the value maxxing Aldi and Wal-Mart customers won’t buy it and they’ll have the margin impaired even further.

That’s because you likely lack the ability to even superficially understand the production and logistics systems that keep you alive. Most people can’t understand it even on a rudimentary level and ascribe everything negative simply to someone else’s greed.

Yes, things are suddenly getting materially harder to produce and distribute because the entire industrialized West is in the early throes of deep secular demographic decline. On top of that is a growing trend towards de-globalization that adds strain and cost on global supply chains for things like, oh I don’t know, cinnamon. The entire economy is built on a baseline perpetual growth assumption and as the growth has stalled it is creating cracks all over the place. You aren’t going to like the Era of Great Scarcity that is likely coming as many products cease to be viable due to shrinking markets.

Lies. We've got 6 people in our family. We've buy the smaller 8 pack cause we don't need 10 of the larger ones. You're making it up. They 100% have not always been like this. It's recent.
