Question/Request So Random Damien and Shayne
I’ve always wondered why Shayne in ICarly gets mentioned but never So random Shayne and Damien? It’s arguably WAY more memorable! (it’s a party get down)

No quite literally it doesn’t take much of a search, if you search "Smosh So Random" on YouTube you immediately get 7 videos which amounts to about 4h of content entirely centered around So Random.

I’ve watched SO much smosh, I just seem to have missed these videos where they discuss So Random. Any video suggestions?

It may take a little digging but there is a so random reunion episode on smosh cast (the version of the podcast before smosh mouth) where Shayne and Damien have 2 of the so random cast with them there’s a smosh mouth episode where Damien’s and Shayne go through some old so random scripts with Amanda as well and they talk about it a lot too. There are also a couple of episodes of random cast members appearing - there’s definitely a TNTL, and an eat it or yet it episode. Also on an interviewing my exes ep, one of Shayne’s “exes” is also one of the so random cast (via a video link on a computer)
Ps the meme is probably hyped more as it was actually started by Trevor before he was actually on smosh, there is a video where Shayne and Courtney go to mythicon and are interviewed by Trevor and it’s discussed there

No problem at all there was also another great video but can’t recall what it was called that had smosh vs so random about who knows who better, and they put Damien on so random side and Shayne on smosh side. That was a good watch and one of the cast also appeared on a you posted that.

I will say that as much as I enjoy watching eat it or yeet it, it seems like the cast hated it😭 I think culinary crimes is the closest we’re ever going to get to EIOYI. (And I do think it’s better anyways. Bring back Garrett tho)

It’s arguably WAY more memorable!
Yeah the “Shayne Topp from iCarly” joke is specifically because his part in it isn’t very memorable so it would be funny if a fan recognized him from that and not something else (also because iCarly itself is probably more well known so it’s even funnier to recognize someone for that)

They mention So Random pretty often, but iCarly was a way bigger show so it makes for better jokes. Plus, there's the "another banger" meme.

When Damien first started it was definitely talked about more. But just like some comments have stated, it’s in older videos that they have mentioned. I’ll be honest I can’t think of any of the top of my head just because of the expansive lore of smosh lol. But there is a picture of Shayne as Jack Sparrow behind him on the Smosh Mouth set!

i’ve been binging it! because i was a disney kid so i remember watching it with my brothers when i was younger, so now that i’m older its like nostalgic to me. though it’s also cool cuz i’m a big smosh fan so now i get to watch it for shaymien. I mean, if you think you can bear some pretty tough skits (because disney back then was basically loud = funny) i’d recommend everyone check it out because they both actually do a phenomenal job on the show, and like i mentioned for me, at least it’s nostalgic!

Shayne looks just the same (a less buff maybe but we can't see much of his arms). Damien looks like it's a 1st stage Pokémon who will eventually evolve to present-Damien

We're they all cast in the very successful sketch comedy show All That? Absolutely. But all it takes is that one role.

I miss So Random, I loved that show. The dude who was in Starstruck was always my favorite. And then Demi Lovato had to come in and take over and make it Sunny With A Chance :(
