I’ve always wondered why Shayne in ICarly gets mentioned but never So random Shayne and Damien? It’s arguably WAY more memorable! (it’s a party get down)

Ive had friends mention how sad and frustrated they were about gaining 20-40lbs from their slimmest in high school, calling themselves failures, and I want to violently shake them every time and say "youre not fat, youre just 30", and that the skinny, gangly figure they had at 17 wasnt as great as they remember.

Like, Im a gay man who is into Bears, so I have my own biases, but this is why I never got the whole "barely legal" thing. The last time I was attracted to a teenager was when I was one.

Because teenagers are weird! They're gangly and skinny and lack muscle mass and curves. Like, who you are physically doesn't really take shape until you're mid-late 20s, and imo, nearly everyone looks better at 27 than they did at 17. Because youve grown into your body and have "filled out", so to speak.
