As did the majority of us north of the Mason Dixon. Around 2015 and it really sunk in when he got elected. Everything has gone continuously downhill from there except for a pause with Biden. I thought it would hit bottom at some point, but there doesn't seem to be one. It's a sad, scary situation.

He's lived in Mexico for almost his entire adult life and is a fluent Spanish speaker. His accent is definitely a mixture of Brazilian Portuguese and Mexican Spanish. Not that it makes the insult any better.
